24.01.2022 NT TITLES SUNDAY 17TH NOVEMBER - 9 YEARS + Hello NT Judoka, NT TITLES - 9 Years old (turn 9 by the end of 2019) to Adult ... Sunday 17th of November Venue Marrara Judo Stadium Weigh in - 9:00 - 9:30am March On - 9:45 Competition start - ASAP after weigh in. Competitors must be Yellow belt or above! ENTRY FEE $20.00 - PAYABLE AT WEIGHIN. Competitors must be born in 2010 or before. All competitors must be currently registered, so bring your Judo Registration card, and need to be registered with Judo Australia a minimum of 2 weeks prior. Check with your club if unsure. Exceptions to this can be applied through JudoNT Competitors wishing to represent the NT at the Australian National Championships next year MUST medal at NT Titles. This highlight of NT Judo events is hosted by Marrara Judo Club and Darwin Judo Club will also have a BBQ, sweets and drinks available on the day! SENIOR classes (6:30pm) Monday the 17th and Wednesday the 19th of December respectively. RETURN DATES: Juniors; Monday the 4th of February, Tuesday the 5th and Wednesday the 6th of February 2019 Seniors Monday the 21st and Wednesday the 23rd of January 2019 Our Coaches and Com would like to thank all our parents and players for your support in 2018 and wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year!

22.01.2022 Hi Everyone, During the 2 week school holiday break Monday and Wednesday 6:30pm (Senior classes) will continue as normal! There will be NO JUNIOR CLASSES HELD DURING THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS... Normal junior classes will return from Monday the 12th of October. We hope all our junior players enjoy their break and we look forward to seeing them again in Term 4. MJC CoM

17.01.2022 MJC Judo is back from the 9th of June! MJC are happy to welcome everyone back to judo from the 9th of June!!... Our first junior class will be Tuesday 9th June (because of the Monday Public Holiday) and first senior class Wednesday 10th June At this stage we will continue all classes through the mid year school holidays. MJC have organised a thorough and industrial clean of our dojo which will be completed before we are back, and we have our business COVID plan. To ensure we adhere to all recommendations we ask parents and players to help with the following ALL judoka must have SHOES and a WATER BOTTLE or you will not be allowed to train. The bubblers are to be used for refilling water bottles ONLY! Although social distancing doesn’t apply on the mat, it does off, we will only be able to have limited spectators so we ask 1 parent per child inside the dojo. Players and parents attending the second class of the night are requested to stay outside and assemble under the outside stairs until the first class has left. Your coach will call you in when the first class has cleared the area. MJC will ensure our mats and bubblers are sanitised and the end of every night, and have hand sanitiser available for all players before their class commences If anyone has any questions please ask and welcome back ! 17.01.2022 Hi All This week is the final nights for ALL junior classes!! Senior classes will finish on Wednesday the 16th of December.... Karen and Dave will be continuing to hold BJJ classes on Monday nights at 6:30pm through the Xmas break, and have said any senior players from our 6:30 classes are welcome to come and train with them. 13.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Further to the Prime Ministers Coronavirus update, (https://www.pm.gov.au/.../update-coronavirus-measures-220320) the MJC CoM has decided to cancel ALL classes efective from today :( We have also decided to thank our Parents who have paid for this first semester, by transferring your monies to semester 2 so you dont have any training fees to worry about for the rest of the year!... Sue has also found some activity sheets you can download at https://tinyurl.com/JUDOACTIVITYSHEETS (the direct link is on our MJC private members page) that may help keep the smaller ones amused in the holidays. For our older players YouTube has some amazing clips to help satisfy your Judo cravings. We will definately advise you all when the all clear is given and we can resume training.
