24.01.2022 We just had a mini break at the Glasshouse Mountains (beautiful area), and while ambling around the base of Mt Tibrogargan I came across this tree, and my first thought was: If 2020 was a tree, it would like this!!!

23.01.2022 I have a soft spot for grooms who really think about what they’re about to do (commit for life), and take the ceremony (the legal part of the day that actually marries you) seriously. Beautiful vows, and gorgeous dress!!

22.01.2022 Sealing the deal with this vivacious couple, Sharon and Darren at the Bargara Golf Club. Photo by Lee-Ann Wilson Photography (she always manages to make me look good! ) #bargarawedding #bundabergweddingcelebrant #celebrantforalloccasions

22.01.2022 Check out these fab pics of Sharon and Darren’s wedding by the amazing Lee-Ann Wilson Photography ... always on point. Sharon took Darrens breath away when she walked down the aisle. Always a special moment. #bargarawedding #lovemyjob

21.01.2022 What do you think? Would you like this as part of a proposal?

19.01.2022 Stop judging and be kind

19.01.2022 One of the great privileges of being a Celebrant (for all occasions) is that you get to be a part of the significant occasions in the lives of the people you serve. One of my favourite things to do is to tell someone’s story - and honour their life - as we farewell them from this life. This week, I had the opportunity to do this for two much loved people. As always, I worked closely with both families to ensure the farewell we designed was what the family wanted, and authentic for the person being farewelled. I got some great feedback that indicates I achieved what we set out to do. I’m going to share it because in the difficulties that 2020 has brought, there has been some shining moments, and this is one of them - for me. #afittingfarewell #funeralcelebrant #sayinggoodbye

14.01.2022 Queensland #Covid update for weddings as at 24 August 2020. From the Qld Health website: "How many people can I have at a wedding? Wedding ceremonies conducted in a professional venue such as a reception or function centre can have a maximum of 100 people regardless of the size of the venue. These facilities must have an approved Covid Safe plan.... It is important if you are unwell, that you do not go to a wedding. A record of names and contact details of each guest must be kept for 56 days to assist in contact tracing if required. Private wedding services performed in public areas and spaces in the restricted Local Government Areas can have a maximum of 10 people attend including the bride, groom and marriage celebrant. Private wedding services performed in public areas and spaces not within restricted Local Government Areas can have a maximum of 30 people attend including the bride, groom, wedding party and marriage celebrant." #Covidweddingsqld #Qldcovidadvice EDIT: Please remember, inside the restricted regions, you are limited to only 10 ppl at OUTDOOR ceremonies and this includes the couple, celebrant and photographer meaning only 6 other guests can attend. If outside the restricted regions (the rest of Queensland), you are limited to 30 ppl at OUTDOOR ceremonies and this includes the couple, celebrant and photographer meaning only 26 other guests can attend. Frustrating times for couples planning their special day, I know. Best to keep up to date with Queensland Health Covid information.

04.01.2022 More good news....personal, this time. Our family has been very blessed to welcome 3 babies in 15 months! This is Riley, our newest arrival. We’re over the moon, of course. Beautiful boy #babyboom #beautifulboy #sweetbaby

04.01.2022 I love how the groom knows her so well, and how proud (and touched) he is of his effort. Obviously two very caring souls xx

03.01.2022 I’m not usually a fan of very public proposals for a variety of reasons, but this one gave me warm and fuzzies
