14.01.2022 We painfully write the most heartbreaking post to notify you all one of the most incredible men has gained his angel wings on Wednesday 21/4/21 at 2:55pm. Life is so incredibly cruel & has taken one of the best. Mark has fought his battle with cancer for 2 years and three months. He had responded to surgery last year and believed that he may have a second opportunity to respond again. On 2nd March Mark’s nightmare started. His surgery was unsuccessful and he then ran into ob...stacle after obstacle. It ended up with 3 weeks in hospital before Mark came home, where the fighting spirit continued on whilst he made plans for his celebration of life. He fought so damn hard right to the very end. His strength was unwavering and he continued with his f@#ked up sense of humour. We are so dammed proud of how hard he tried to get on top of this disease. His mind, heart, sense of humour and attitude was what helped him in the past. He so desperately tried to do it again and initially there was a glimmer of hope. But, we guess his family and friends above or below needed his incredible fun, crazy, risk taking self with them for an adventure and his body made the decision to finally let go from the suffering. He is and always will be our incredible fighter, and a true champion. Whilst life without Mark is going to be difficult for all those that knew him he will live on through his antics. Mark was so proud of his amazing gorgeous son Sebastian and was fortunate to be able to make Amazing memories for his life with him and his family and friends. Thank you for your messages, texts and calls. Whist it has been a difficult time we appreciate all the support that is given. Please forgive the family for not replying to all the messages personally. We can't thank you all enough for helping Mark and Sebastian create all those Amazing Memories. His funeral details are in the photos below and we would be honored if you could join us at Kembla Grange RACECOURSE for his celebration of life on Thursday 29th April, ceremony commencing at 2pm followed by refreshments. Yes he was always a gambling man so this location is so fitting. Mark was forever young and will be sadly missed. As per Marks favourite saying F@#K CANCER.
