16.01.2022 People often ask, What do you really do as a wedding celebrant and how much does it cost? In a nutshell I basically conduct and control your wedding ceremony so that it runs smoothly and delivers a fantastic ceremony just how the bride and groom want it. Like every major event, this means, meetings with the couple to define their vision, doing the legal paper work, writing the entire ceremony to tell their story and include things like music, readings, vows, rituals, special ...people, choreography, timing, rehearsals, and working with other people at the venue such as photographers, stylists, venue owners. On the appointed day, I arrive at least 1 hour early, make sure everything is in place and finally welcome the bridal party, conduct the ceremony, to make sure it's legal and afterwards I register the paperwork with the appropriate authorities. As to the second part "How much does it cost?" if you want it done right, cost won't be an issue, but let me assure everyone that it's probably a lot less than most people think.
