22.01.2022 We'd like to offer a massive thanks to all of the crew at the Bowlo, who have been saving all their tips to donate to the NSW Rural Fire Service. In particular - a huge shout out to Paris Mason who got it organised! These beautiful folk raised $2,491.70!!!! Also, The Club was going to chip in a buck for every schooner sold yesterday, which would've been just under $500 but we decided to round the donation up to $1,000. On top of this - last nights Inner West for the RFS fundr...aiser raised $4,000! Big fist pumps to Kate Marks and her crew who organised the event and to The Grifter Brewing Co. for chucking in a Karma Keg for the cause. Most of all, thanks to the Firies for risking their asses, to save ours! MBC

12.01.2022 In light of recent events (looking at you, COVID-19.) the Marrickville Bowling Club would like to advise members and patrons that the club will continue to operate routinely pending further advice from governing bodies. Scheduled shows will proceed as planned pending any cancellations or developments in the current state of events. In the event of postponements/cancellations any presale tickets will be refunded in full. The Club will be posting regular updates to ensure patr...ons are aware of these changes to schedule as soon as we are. In the meantime we will be implementing a number of precautionary measures in regards to both the Bowling AND Recreational side of things to ensure the health and safety of our members and guests. These measures include but are not limited to: Disinfecting lawn bowls before and after use as well as providing patrons with the option and means to do so themselves while bowling as deemed fit. Hand sanitizer placed around the venue for both patrons and staff to utilize. Regularly communicating with staff, members and guests the importance of practicing safe hygiene. Regularly sanitizing touch points and high traffic areas such as hand rails, door handles, etc. Well continue to keep patrons in the loop with further measures implemented as the situation develops.
