22.01.2022 This weekend would have seen the finals of The Championships at Wimbledon, but this is the lost year. However at great expense to management we have secured from the All England Tennis Club an authentic 2020 Wimbledon towel in traditional purple and green. Come to the club this Saturday, 11 July to buy a raffle ticket. Second prize a Wimbledon 2020 keyring!

13.01.2022 Today our former President Greg Gibson was posthumously honoured with an Order Of Australia Medal for his work with tennis players will a disability. In addition to managing numerous players and tournaments, from 1996, Greg coached Special Olympics gold medallist Kelly Wren, who now is also a coach. Greg was also the much-respected President of Marrickville District Lawn Tennis until his untimely death 12-months ago. Much missed and long remembered. A recognition well deserved.

09.01.2022 In great news, the Club was successful in our application for a grant to replace some of the oldest parts of the fencing. This cheque was recently presented by State Member for Summer Hill, Jo Haylen. Thanks to Drew for drafting the application. Work to start in the New Year.
