23.01.2022 Meet 'Leo' Leo is a 3-legged superstar who recently had surgery on his (only) front leg, and he's been spending his recovery here hanging out with the team at Marrickville Vet! He loves a cuddle and to chat to us while we work throughout the day - how cute is he relaxing under the heater in our treatment room ... He's only a couple of weeks away from his 8-week post-op x-rays and we can't wait until he's back up and running around like normal! Thanks for hanging out with us little man! 23.01.2022 Meet Morty! Morty was only 2 weeks old when he was brought into us, and as he grew we discovered he has a rare congenital condition known as Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). This condition affects the development of the cerebellum, a part of the brain responsible for coordination and balance! Morty will live just as long as any other cat, and the condition does not cause him pain or frustration - as far as hes concerned all cats are like this! Little Morty was looked after by the team here at Marrickville, and has been adopted by Nurse Rach! Look at how good he is at chasing his little mouse!

05.01.2022 **UPDATE** - All kitties have now found homes! Though Peaches is still in need of a home of her own. She is a lovely, very cuddly kitten herself still and if anyone if interested in meeting her please get in touch! KITTENS FOR ADOPTION! A few weeks ago we had a pregnant cat brought into us as a stray as she was actively birthing kittens . Well we have named her Peaches and she ended up having 5 kittens! ... Unfortunately no one came forward to claim Peaches, so herself along with 4 of her kittens (one of our staff has already fallen in love and adopted one ) are now up for adoption. They are very healthy and have been raised by mum Peaches who has been a great first time mum. Peaches is only young herself, and we estimate she is about 10 months old.
