24.01.2022 Hi Facebook! Let me start by introducing myself! My name is Beck and I have the magical job of marrying people in Australia. Why? It’s simple! We can ALL agree there is no greater feeling in the world than being in love. And when two people decide it’s time spend forever together, I get to make that happen. Today started in Nobbys, then to Chirn Park, and will be finishing in Elanora. Back to back meetings with couples. It never feels like a job to me, more like catching up with pals! Whether your choosing a small intimate ceremony setting or planning a wedding-of-the-year extravaganza, it’s my job to ensure your ceremony is effortless, captivating and unforgettable for everyone involved.

10.01.2022 Let’s talk VOWS! Often throughout the phases of ceremony planning, you’ll hear me talk about your vows! So what are they? And do you need them?... The legal vows MUST take place, at some point throughout your ceremony. A short, direct legal vow which you must say to your partner, in order for me to pronounce you legally married! But don’t let this scare you! I’ve got your back; I’ll be there, prompting you - word for word. Personal vows - which are usually an extension of the legal vows, are totally optional! And although I try and encourage all my couples to write and incorporate their own vows, I get it, the majority of us hate public speaking (myself EXCLUDED ). Here’s the thing, writing your vows doesn’t HAVE to be feared. Keep them lighthearted and cheeky if that’s more your style! Or let’s ditch the altogether, I’ll step aside, and take a moment to share your vows in private. I’m yet to have a couple tell me they’ve regretted having personal vows, and to be honest, Id be blown away if I ever did! It’s every bodies favourite part! It’s your one chance to really tug on those heart strings Just remember - there is no right or wrong, and I’ll be here to help you get the ball rolling with my handy dandy how to write your personal vows guide. Vows really are your chance to tell your partner, and your loved ones, why the person standing in front of you, is the one you’ve chosen forever. And just like that, it’s over! Before you know it, it’ll be time to put a ring on it and share a bigggg saucy smooch! *cue the champagne

09.01.2022 Let’s talk Witnesses! At some stage; I’m going to ask you nominate two special family members, pals, or complete randoms - to be your witnesses! What will your witnesses be asked to do? ... Somewhere towards the end of the ceremony, your witnesses will be called forward to witness you and your partner signing your offical certificates of marriage! It’s a pretty easy gig - there’s some cool photos ops and it’s quite an honour to be asked to be a witness. Requirements; both must be able to understand English AND be over the age of 18. Not sure how to choose your witnesses? Ask me for some fun ways we can incorporate this into your ceremony! #marrigecelebrant #goldcoastmarriagecelebrant #byronmarriagecelebrant #byronbaymarriagecelebrant #sunshinecoastcelebrant #sunshinecoastweddings #goldcoastwedding #brisbanemarriagecelebrant #brisbanewedding #byronbaywedding #goldcoastwedding #goldcoastcelebrant

05.01.2022 Who doesn’t love a chapel wedding in the Hunter Valley?

03.01.2022 What is this NOIM you speak of? NOIM stands for Notice of Intended marriage. Lodgement of this form with your celebrant is basically giving notice that you are planning on getting hitched! Your celebrant will very carefully hold onto this form and submit it to births deaths and marriages after your wedding day. ... Things you need to know! The NOIM needs to be lodged a minimum of one month prior to ceremony! Why? To minimise those shotgun Britney Spears style weddings! (a shortening of time can be approved in rare circumstances) In order to complete your NOIM, you’ll need to first identify yourself, as well as sign the NOIM in the presence of your celebrant! (Have no fear; you can use a JP if you’re interstate or not close enough). If you’ve previously been married, you’ll need to show your celebrant evidence of how that marriage ended (either a divorce or death certificate). Who fills out the NOIM? Where possible, I like to do the NOIM on behalf of my couples. I will usually pre populate all your documents online with the information you’ve provided me, and I’ll bring them along to be signed at our catch up! It’s one less thing you have to worry about. Let me take care of the legal stuff! And Voila! You can tick that off your list
