25.01.2022 If you haven't watched To All The boys (1&2) on Netflix, I'm not sure we can be friends! My sister said Im a loser and she could barely watch them, but as a proud, self proclaimed hopeless romantic, I am positively swooning over these fun and goosebumps worthy movies! I'm just obsessed with Lara Jean's character and how she portrays a girl so fiercely determined in love, who also represents strength in softness. Media can be so saturated with strong, I don't need a significant other to complete me types, - and that's great! - but sometimes it's nice to see some good old fashioned, honest, pure-hearted romance on the screen too. It's okay to believe in, and adore, love stories! @toalltheboysnetflix

24.01.2022 And with that, we're having to say a bittersweet goodbye to larger-scale weddings, and wedding season as we knew it - for now. Scomo says 5 people max (you two, me and 2 witnesses). I have 2 to go, then I'll be on an unexpected hiatus that unexpectedly has me relying on Centrelink. 22.01.2022 If you're in the midst of making new and improved wedding plans (because everything will be back to normal soon and it will be PARTY ON!) here some fun ideas. We created all wedding signage ourselves. I had another quote inside the reception space that said "All you need is faith, trust and a little bit of pixie dust". And, a sign that said "Happy Days" by the car bar. And, a sign with the cake that said "All you need is love and cake".... In addition to signs with our names, the date, and a welcome written on them. And, a sign that said "Celebration Station" listing timing of the evenings proceedings. And, a sign that said "Love is an adventure" written with hanging luggage tags with everyone's names on them, with a memorable destination of ours written inside that indicated the guest's table name. Yeah, it was a lot of signs Personally, I think fun signage adds to the guest experience and helps foster the atmosphere you want to create. Push the boundaries, go beyond the welcome sign! See more

20.01.2022 Why stand in the middle for the first half of the ceremony. Well, having worked in entertainment for 10 years I find that where the microphone goes so too does the attention. Its important to me that as Im telling your story your guests see the reactions on your faces as we laugh and share tender moments. Then for the big moments (vows, I dos, ring exchange and kiss) I move to the side because we do not want my mug ruining those Kodak moments! 19.01.2022 Sweet Saffron and Sam met when they were 19 through a mutual friend at a farewell party. I have it on goodauthority that they were most certainly checking each other out all night long. And later, when everyone conveniently bailed to go to the bathroom in a club, Sam headed over to Saffron and said, "so, do you want a shot?" Nothing like some dutch courage to get the party started! Saffron agreed, but when they went up to the bar to pay, Sam’s card declined! How convenient! S...o Saffron was left to pay $30 for shots with some random guy. But Saffron says it’s a good thing he was cute! They talked throughout the night and sparks were flying. Because Saffron was paying! But seriously, Saffron and Sam were a done deal from the get go - they just clicked. After that fateful night, they were texting each other every day until 3 am. Their first date even went for a whole 9 hours and after that, they saw each other every day without fail. The loveliest, most down to earth and fun couple to be around. Saff and Sam have nothing but good vibes and happiness on their horizon. Their intimate elopement was just perfect! We all had such a love buzz! 19.01.2022 Getting a little stuck on your vows? This isn't Shakespeare, this is you telling your favorite person that you think they're the greatest, and you promise some cool stuff to them. It's not a novel, it's only really the length of a one page on your notes app - if you start to scroll it might be getting a little lengthy, but if that's your jam - go for it! (Disclaimer - this picture wasn't taken during the vow exchange - you definitely don't need my ugly mug in the middle of those photos!)

19.01.2022 One of my all time favorite wedding moments. The groom walked up to his bride as she reached the top of the aisle and said, Hi, Im Josh and shook her hand! it was wedding comedy gold!

18.01.2022 Christie and Josh met in primary school where their biggest problems were whether Mum packed something yum for lunch, or the perils of no hat no play. It wasnt until later at family camping trips that these two actually started flirting. It was Christie who made the first move - love a girl who knows what she wants! Inspired by a royal fairytale, Christie text Josh when Kate and Wills were getting married, and it read would you date someone younger? So subtle! Josh eventua...lly referred to Christie as babe and Christie was a goner! Christie was now dating an out of school dude, which gave her considerable street cred. Josh would cruise by school in his totally rad Hilux ute and pick Christie up. Soon enough, schoolies rolled around for Christie where she spent 5 hours each night, not on the beach partying, but on the phone to Josh. Josh claims he wanted to make sure Christie was sure about them, because he was now, finally, willing to be in it for the long haul. Josh even said to his mate, Im going to marry that girl. So, while at schoolies Christie sent Josh a text saying its now or never and these two have been together ever since! Such a feel-good, fun-loving couple! Getting to know these two, over many laughs, was a blast! With many adventures ahead of them, these two have nothing but good times, love and happiness on their horizon. See more

17.01.2022 Married no matter what - just as the world was shutting down back in March, Bec and Sean eloped at their favourite spot. Two incredible people who wanted to get hitched, come what may. And never has there been a more breathtaking bride on Burleigh Hill. Total showstopper! Bec and Sean met on a Contiki tour. History buff Sean was too consumed with the Roman ruins to notice beautiful Bec was interested. It literally took his mate to say, if you dont kiss her I will for Sean to wise up and make his move! Bec and Sean are such a sweet, wonderfully kind and caring couple. They deserve all the love and happiness in the world!

16.01.2022 I don't play favourites, but this wedding and that moment was the greatest. Why? Because the stunning bride is my cousin and one of my best friends. I get a love buzz after every single ceremony, but this one was extra special. And I got to stick around and party with my big fun family! Ryan and Mikaela met at everyones favourite local liquor store, Dan Murphys. Ryan was transferred to Mikaelas store for 2 weeks working as store manager. And in Ryans ...words, he was way above Mikaela. Mikaela was tasked with showing Ryan around the store (Id say this had something to do with Mikaelas particularly short skirt which Ryan allegedly took a liking to). Mikaela was rather confused as to why she had to show him around, especially where the rubbish went. How romantic! Ryan was clearly showing an interest in all facets of the operation and its employees. One time Mikaela was playing basketball at work (very productive), and Ryan was watching Mikaela on the cameras. He went out to see her, not because she was going to get in trouble, but because apparently she got the basket! Ryan had to check the replay just to confirm because he didnt actually see it. And, being the basketball fan that he is, Ryan has naturally impressed! By both the basket and the short-skirted rule breaker. 14.01.2022 Angela and Andrew class is in session! One plus one equals two right? I’m sure you’ve guessed by my terrible puns that Angela and Andrew met at work, as teachers. At the end of a school term, a big group of Angela and Andrew’s friends went to watch the Broncos lose - sorry play - and, at the pub afterwards Andrew told Angela that she was intimidating. Way to go Andrew! Who needs romance! Screw the flowery compliments, tell her how you really feel! It clearly worked, because A...ngela pursued him after that. Go girl! I don’t know if you all know, but our Andrew happens to be quite the Broncos fan. So much of Andrew and Anglea’s dating was spent at quite a few Broncos games. Which were generally followed by going to Caxton St to eat pizza, and then they’d go back to Angela’s place and watch The Office until 3am. 14.01.2022 Never have I ever... met a couple more resilient, cool, calm and collected as Eadie and Corbin. 10 minutes prior to the ceremony starting the heavens opened and hailed, yes hailed, on arriving guests. The bride was sold on having the ceremony in the outdoor space (it was December, so fair call). So we tried again where I was barely a page in and it bucketed down, again (cut to me scampering to save my PA system in soaked heels). So we waited a little longer. I decided the pri...ority was to just get these two hitched. So on the third attempt, I did all the legals, and the weather gods smiled on us so I was able to circle back and do the fun parts of the ceremony too! And it was perfectly imperfect! 13.01.2022 One year wed. I dreamed and pinned, and dreamed and pinned about this day since well before I can remember. Everything was perfect; vendors, weather, guests - groom. But what I remember the most is walking down that aisle with my hands locked tightly to my mum's, reveling in our amazing ceremony and shaking with excitement as we left as husband as wife. Call me biased, but the ceremony really was the best bit. This photo was taken right after we walked back down t...he aisle and signed our docs. I felt the purest joy. 13.01.2022 Lauren and Dallas's wedding at @summergroveestate was simply stunning. This match was actually a bit of a family affair! You see, Laurens best friend is married to Dallass brother. When you and your bestie share the same taste in guys, marry brothers! With Dallas building his new business, and Lauren busy doing life, both Lauren and Dallas were totally interested in each other but no one acted on it - yet! I hear the flirting and attraction was palpabl...e, and soon enough, Dallas asked Lauren to be his girlfriend in Fiji whilst on holiday with brother and sister-in-law. It was official! With a whole bunch of life happening, house builds and all, Lauren and Dallas say that they were each others calm amongst the storm. For them, everything was easy - it just worked together. Lauren and Dallas have found such precious comfort in one another and have created such a beautiful family with baby Chloe (cutest baby at any wedding!) 11.01.2022 Our wedding timeline was planned so that after the ceremony we were able to do some quick family photos and then enjoy cocktail hour with everyone for an hour, before sneaking away for our bridal party photo session. It was in that awesome hour that I legged it across the field to photo bomb my best gals getting a pic together. The timing was brilliant and the photos we took together are so treasured. I'm so happy I didn't miss it.

02.01.2022 Brodie and Beau were hitched just before we were put into isocation (Im glass half fulling it so it was more of a forced vacation). These two have such a fun, vibrant vibe about them. Their day was just perfect and their family and friends were so jazzed to celebrate their marriage. Brodie and Beau werent necessarily love at first sight, it was more like a gentle loathe at first sight . But fate had other plans, and a cheeky like on a old Facebook phot...o turned into an awesome friendship and beautiful romance. 02.01.2022 Jeaninne and Dean got married on their 10 year anniversary. And, intense COVID restrictions came into effect directly after! Wowza! But it didn't stop them from having an intimate backyard ceremony surrounded by family and near friends. In the face of a pandemic, it was really heart-warming to see some couples who just wanted to get hitched, no matter what. Jeannine and Dean have such kind, brave hearts - marrying them was really special.

01.01.2022 Laura and Jamie were married on the 7th of March. Jamie actually sat behind Laura at work. Laura said Jamie was incredibly kind, he always is. And it was a total win that he loved coffee, cheese & crackers, chips and music as much as Laura did. Their first date was to an Adele concert - where Jamie was all Hello, its me and Laura was all I never thought Id find someone like you. And soon enough, rumour has it they were rolling in the deep. Puns intended! Spending time together and getting to know one another was really easy - it just worked, like most meant to bes do. The loveliest, most heartfelt couple all wrapped up in a big bundle of love with their 3 boys!
