02.01.2022 3 YEARS || Yesterday marked three years since I was accredited as a celebrant but I forgot (too busy #living). Today I marry my 97th couple. Being a celebrant has afforded the opportunity to explore some of the most magnificent pockets of WA, invited me into some of the most exquisite private properties, been an excuse to work alongside some of the most divinely talented and inspiring humans, and most importantly, given me (a stranger!) intimate access into people’s hearts a...nd families with the trust I will prepare and deliver a ceremony worthy of marking this moment of their lives. This job has given me deep gratitude and opportunity to reflect weekly daily on what it means to be alive, surrounded by love and connected to other people. What does success look like to you? This is it for me. A meaningful life, enjoying my young family and the people I meet, hearing and feeling their stories, the opportunity to create and serve. Thank you for sharing this ride.
