24.01.2022 CLIENT REVIEW I was absolutely blown away by this review. Leah married us in February 2020 and I wanted to write a review in appreciation of all that she did for us both in the lead up to the wedding and on the day. ... My husband and I asked that our stories be told as part of our vows and to make the ceremony light hearted and funny. Leah took on this challenge with so much enthusiasm and provided us both with a set of questions to answer privately, she then pulled these together into a story on how we came about meeting, dating and how we ended up together and getting married. It was a beautiful way to make it very personal and was an amazing surprise on the day. Leah also learned that our love of music was a key thing that we shared and asked if we would be open to her attempting to write a bit of a poem to link this into her part of the ceremony. It was awesome, funny and so so unique!! Leah is a young, friendly and bubbly celebrant who brings character to her work and I am so glad I found her!! On our wedding day it poured with rain so as well as doing what she was there to do, she ran around and got drenched trying to help coordinate a last minute change of set up and we cant even begin to explain how much we appreciated all of this. I would recommend Leah to any couple about to get married and will be forever grateful for the unique approach she took to make it perfect for us! - Lisa & Nathan I truly love my job and even more so when I make my clients happy. @eventpictures_co

24.01.2022 I would have been doing another ceremony today had it not been for #covid19 so heres another flashback to a February ceremony that I didnt post. This was a legal ceremony for my friends Paige and Simon on a Sunday afternoon in front of their immediate family. It was a quick, simple and intimate affair but lots of fun! Its also a great option for couples who have family members that cant travel long distances and therefore cant attend the actual wedding day. Or if you ...want to elope during these unprecedented times and save the party for later. Remember marriages are still allowed to take place with 5 people - the celebrant, the marrying couple and two witnesses. Get in touch if youre interested in exploring this option! #ceremonyoptions #elopements #legalceremony #marriage #wedding #celebrant #friends #elope #intimateceremony #sydney

24.01.2022 Reminiscing about these sorts of weekends. #weddings #ceremonies #celebrant #precovid #gerringong #southcoast #autumnwedding #friends #winery

24.01.2022 Scrolling through some of my wedding photos and found this absolute beauty. This is my family at my cousins wedding last year. Weve got another TWO cousin weddings coming up over the next few months and I cannot WAIT because I have the amazing honour of being the celebrant at both.

23.01.2022 Want to spread some love during this global crisis? I am offering a free elopement in exchange for a PAY IT FORWARD good deed. Get in touch if you are interested <3 #celebrant #marriage #elopement #ceremony #payitforward #swapforsmiles

23.01.2022 Congratulations to this beautiful couple Steph and Jason. What a day!

22.01.2022 Hey brides and grooms! If you are still having your wedding this year, here is a great COVID-19 Safety Plan, issued by NSW Government on July 24 2020. It provides guidance to help you create and maintain a safe environment for you and your guests when planning your wedding. #celebrant #weddings #COVID19 #safety #ceremony #reception #bride #groom

22.01.2022 #TBT. My absolute favourite photo. I tried so hard to get out of the shot but I was literally stuck. Thank you for the @rachaelmuller

21.01.2022 The @beekeepersinn in Vittoria, Bathurst will always have a special place in my heart because it was where I conducted my very first ceremony as a commonwealth registered marriage celebrant. The venue hosts a cafe, farmshop, a small brewery and a traditional English homestead that was built in 1859. Many wedding ceremonies and receptions are in the beer garden in front of the barn with red doors. This is next to the function room which can seat 40-110 people and utilises the... outdoor space on the large verandah that wraps around the venue. Ceremonies and wedding photos can also be done in the near by Macquarie woods forestry reserve. If the forest is your vibe I highly recommend the Beekeepers Inn! @henrypaulphotography

21.01.2022 Reminiscing about the good old days when we could hug and hold ceremonies with more than 5 people. Cant wait until I can do this again. #celebrant #weddings #ceremony #hugs #clients #samesame #equallove #happiness #marriage #samesexmarriage #love @tanyavolt

21.01.2022 Your wedding might have been cancelled or postponed but as a celebrant, my commitment, excitement and joy to and for my clients and future clients has not. If you have had to postpone, do not worry, Ill be there when the time is right. If youve had to cancel or are considering to cancel. Dont. Get in touch and lets see how we can navigate this journey together and get you married as soon as were given the all clear. Love is not cancelled my loves, not even a pandemic can eliminate it, rather it increases it.

20.01.2022 Happy first wedding anniversary to my cousins Rebecca and Sean! Hope you celebrate year one down in style like always

20.01.2022 TESTIMONIAL TIME I miss receiving these sorts of messages after a ceremony. Hi Leah, I just wanna drop a message and thank you so much for making our wedding possible and delivering such a beautiful ceremony. No one could hold their tears. It was sooooo beautiful. Thank you so much. Thank you Leah, for everything. Was an amazing wedding and ceremony.... - Rach and Sher (Feb 2020). Cant wait to be up there laughing with the marrying couple again! @australianelopements #celebrant #clients #testmonials #weddings #marriage #samesexmarriage #love #sydneyweddings #oldgovernmenthouse #singapore #summerweddings

19.01.2022 Theres so many emotions that go into a ceremony but when I receive photos from clients after their wedding and I get to reflect, the one that stands out the most is pure happiness for my clients. I love seeing the look of admiration and adoration between partners on the day they commit their lives to each other Helena @lindgrenphotographyau

19.01.2022 If youre looking for one of Sydneys top 35 celebrants, take a look at number 12 Pretty chuffed to have been selected Thanks Wedding Diaries! #celebrant #weddings #marriage #sydneycelebrant #ceremony

18.01.2022 Today I was supposed to be officiating at a wedding but because of the #COVID19 situation, my clients decided to postpone until November. SO instead, heres a flash back to a ceremony I did at @thebarnonmelross back in February. I didnt get to take any photos on the day because it was pouring with rain and I had left my phone in the car, too distracted making sure the ceremony was dry and perfect for my clients. For this wedding, I wrote the majority of the ceremony in the f...orm of a poem because Lisa and Nathan love music (and I cant sing) so this was the closest thing I could do to make it sound like a song. It was tailored especially for them and man, it was fun to do something different! Lots of laughter and few tears, no amount of rain could take away from this perfect day. @eventpictures_co #summerweddings #rainyday #weddings #February #covid19 #marriage #ceremony #poem #love #laughter #happiness #babybumpbride #lovemyjob

17.01.2022 Thinking of all the couples in Victoria that were so looking forward to getting married in front of friends and family this weekend and now suddenly have to cancel or reevaluate I hope you find some sort of positivity that comes out of a devastating situation. 17.01.2022 As I reach my FORTIETH client, I can’t help but reminisce on some of my favourites and reflect on how much my confidence as a celebrant has grown. This one was one of the very first ceremonies I did back in 2018 for my friends Amy & Chris. It is also Amy and Chris’s third wedding anniversary today so happy 3 years lovers!!!! Also, the amazing blooms are by @thewildside__

16.01.2022 Now if I had to pick a favourite venue that I have been to so far as a celebrant @malibraefarm would be it. Maybe its because I am winter lover and am a sucker for those autumn hues but the property is hands down the place I would be planning my dream wedding at. My photography skills just wont do this place justice so you should absolutely scroll through @malibraefarms profile and there you find that the venue hosts SIX incredible ceremony sites and not to mention multip...le photo opportunities. How do you choose between the willows, the fountain, the poplar walk, the pavilion, the old ruins or the gum trees?!? In August last year I conducted a ceremony in the exquisite pavilion. Those chandelier lights, French doors and archway windows is just something I hadnt seen before and it took my breath away. If youre looking for a rustic country style wedding, this family run, 90 acre farm offers rolling hills, stunning views and dams that make dream weddings come true! #celebrant #favouritevenue #weddings #marriage #ceremony #southernhighlands #boutique #venue #mossvale #unique

15.01.2022 About Yesterday Guys! My cousin got married yesterday. It was a huge family affair. The rain held off just enough to get these two love birds officiated. The best part of the ceremony was when they realised the written vows had been left in the car and someone had to run back to get them. The unplanned moments always make for the best stories! Sooo excited for the next cousin wedding in February!

13.01.2022 Today NSW #celebrants received an update on requirements for weddings taking place in NSW. Good news! Guidelines advise that as of the 1st June 2020: Up to 20 guests may attend a wedding, in addition to the couple, the people conducting or assisting in the conduct of the wedding and a photographer and/or videographer! ... Its small steps but were slowly getting back to some sort of normality! #marriage #weddings #ceremony #celebrant #nsw #publichealth #love

13.01.2022 I wish these were couples that I had married on the weekend. But they weren’t. Do however, take a closer look at the mens suits. Stylish right?! Well for all my grooms out there, this one is for you! Recently @oscarhunttailors approached me to partner with them. Although I was honoured to partner with another company in the wedding industry, I wanted to make sure that the brand aligned with my values so I asked them what they are doing for the environment. I was very happy t...o be told that Oscar Hunt are working with their factory to greatly reduce plastic use and they are currently switching to a more sustainable wrapping option. Oscar Hunt also looks to work with fabric mills that use an environmentally friendly supply chain. This involves less use of water, chemicals and a focus on more sustainable farming practices. But what I love the most about Oscar Hunt is that along with using high quality fabrics and natural fibres (wool, cotton etc) as much as possible, their suits are made to order which means there is little waste when it comes to production. For someone who is trying to avoid creating waste in my everyday life, this is really important to me. So if this is something that you value too, get in touch for more details. One last thing. For grooms who may be unsure about Oscar Hunt, they can also offer an initial consultation where you go come in and explore the showroom and their fitters will explain how the fitting process works and everything you need to know about your suit! 12.01.2022 Hope youre all having a wonderful Valentines Day - whoever youre spending it with. Ps. Love a car selfie on the way to a ceremony #marriagecelebrant #celebrant #sydney #weddings #valentinesday

12.01.2022 Sheeza & Sam I don’t often get selfies with clients on my phone, I always forget but I am so glad I got these two. I got to give them a big hug afterwards . Their ceremony was so perfect for a sunny Sunday afternoon at the park. Low key, intimate and full of love. Their vows were as eloquent as the other. Both a story and both unique. #celebrant #weddings #marriage #marriagecelebrant #parkweddings #love #vows #ceremony #clients #sydneycelebrant

09.01.2022 Ive been doing my professional development with the @thecelebrantsociety this month and one of the amazing presenters @fionagarrivancelebrant brought this quote to my attention. It spoke to me on many levels. In a year of so much uncertainty and many moments of self doubt it has reminded me to keep on doing the things that I love and to continue to give as much as I can. I hope it inspires you too. #celebrant #training #OPD #learning #reflection #wedding #marriages

09.01.2022 The next venue to feature on my favourites list is @pasadenasydney. Its a restaurant, bar and hotel that sits on Church Point an hour north of Sydney. The renovated 1930s boutique hotel host 14 rooms and a wicked menu that will offer no disappointments. This picturesque waterfront feels as if it could transport you to your dream getaway. ... The surrounding palm trees and proximity to the waters edge creates an island like illusion. The inside opens up to extend the natural light that beams in and bounces of the white walls. The day I officiated a ceremony at Pasadena it was was a glorious and sunny April day. The water was sparkling with sunlight and the reception room was filled with orange and white flowers. It was a 1pm ceremony so the wedding party got to enjoy the venue for the entire Sunday afternoon and watched the sun down over the Ku-ring-Gai national park. A splendid way to finish the weekend! If youre looking for something a bit unique and off kilter Pasadena is the place to book.

09.01.2022 Ten years ago I had just moved to London, I went out with a friend from back home and stayed the night on her couch. I woke up the next morning to see THIS face looking at me, smiling. She was wearing a colourful stripy dress on top of a spotty top and I couldn’t wrap my head around how good she looked in mixed patterns. She introduced herself and asked if I had had a good night... and if am I going to be her new house mate. I was blown away by this girl straight away. Even ...though she was 3 years younger she had a knowing presence and was incredibly charismatic. I fell in love instantly. Since then, I’ve watched her grow and mature from a 19 year old party girl to an amazing interior designer, a stunning model, talented actress, PR professional and a ridiculously beautiful property owner. Tomorrow I have the privilege of marrying her to a man that lights up the room, that has time for every single person and will give you the shirt off his back without hesitate to help anyone. He is her equal in every way and I am so glad he is the man my friend has chosen to spend the rest of her life with. to the weekend and hitching the happy bride and groom! I you Dani & G!

08.01.2022 Happy 1 year anniversary to these two cutie pies Evelyn and Dean! Still one of my favourite ceremonies because not only did I get to marry my friend but it felt so special to be part of a small, low key and intimate ceremony. Such an honour Have a great weekend together guys

08.01.2022 Happy 2nd Wedding Anniversary to these two love birds Jaime and Jeremy. Not only was this the second ceremony I ever did but it was also a surprise wedding. 07.01.2022 Today’s wedding venue @atholhallvenue! The sun came out to play Lots of laughs at the ceremony Successfully streamed the ceremony to loved ones unable to attend Congratulations to the sensation couple, @stephmadonis and Dan who also know how to pick delicious cake flavours!

07.01.2022 Glen & Carrie What a chapel, what a view, what a couple! I married Glen and Carrie this week in @littlebaychapel which over looks the ocean. It was a crystal blue sky and the sunlight lit up the colored glass of the chapel. ... The ceremony was simple and sweet and was followed by a short Chinese tea ceremony which symbolised the union of two families. I love watching or being a part of cultural traditions. It shows that we all have different ways of expressing ourselves and our cultures. It also adds to making a ceremony even more precious to the marrying couple. It would be remiss of me to also not mention the incredible acoustics of @mrmarcmalouf. His voice was heavenly and in a chapel sounded even more divine! Congratulations Mr & Mrs Chew! 06.01.2022 This week I am going to look back at some of my favourite venues I have been to as a celebrant. I miss my adventure weekends, arriving at venues Ive never been to before and being absolutely wowed! This hidden gem is @mandalayhouseandgarden in the Adelaide Hills. I remember being overwhelmed with astonishment. With ever turn I took, the grandeur just didnt seem to stop. This property features perfectly manicured lawns, impeccable gardens and hidden paths, Roman steps, a co...nifer walk, water fountain, rose arch, conservatory, willow pond, tennis court, marquee for a reception, archways and luxurious accommodation. They offer formal events in the marquee, smaller cocktail garden parties or a country style barn wedding. In a post Covid-19 world, if South Australia is your wedding destination, I would head to @mandalayhouseandgarden @davelpascoe #celebrant #marriage #weddings #ceremony #venue #reception #adelaidehills #southaustralia #gardens

06.01.2022 First wedding for 2020 done and man was that a wedding! An absolute highlight in my celebrant career. I learnt Singaporean and Chinese traditions and it was one of the most emotional ceremonies I have conducted. From the moment Rachael stepped out of the car, there was not a dry eye in the house - including the photographer and the celebrant! It was such a special moment to be apart of Rachael and Shers day because I know how much getting married meant to them. Weve been talking about their ceremony since 2018 and it finally arrived yesterday. It truly was an honour to be apart of their day.

06.01.2022 No wedding for me today so let’s talk about the doctors. What a vision! I married Sophie and Stephen last Saturday in the Rose Pavilion at the Botanic Gardens under a majestic fog tree. I shared the ceremony with Sophie’s uncle who delivered his speech with emotion, elegance and honour. We had Stephen’s family in the UK streaming in and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. ... 05.01.2022 Can a celebrant marry us in a chapel YES A civil celebrant is not a minister of religion and cannot marry couples in the church BUT a chapel is totally ... I married Glen and Carrie in the @littlebaychapel in late April on a sunny Monday afternoon. There was not a cloud in the sky and the suns’ rays bounced off the Pacific Ocean to highlight the spectacular glass windows of the chapel. And I mean, look at that window! 03.01.2022 Were you supposed to get married later this year but dont know what to do? Do you cancel, postpone or go ahead without all your loved ones. Firstly, I am so sorry that 2020 has been an absolutely devastating year for many but hopefully we can find some silver linings amongst the darkness....

03.01.2022 I only met these two in person today but it was such a joy to be their celebrant. It was an intimate wedding with their nearest and dearest who had all traveled from Brisbane and the rest of their loved ones on the other side of the world on zoom. Everything was Italian inspired from the venue to the food and drinks to the decoration. ... Stunning day, stunning venue, stunning couple. The perfect wedding. #sydneycelebrant #weddingcelebrant #marriagecelebrant #funcelebrant #youngcelebrant #sydneyweddings
