25.01.2022 Super fun day out at Moggill Pony Club T-shirt hack day. Both orange boys did so well handling the atmosphere considering it was their first time at a show. Zeus was a little tense but he relaxed throughout the day and we got some left canter transitions (not pretty but it happened so we’ll take it ). Couldn’t be prouder of Ava Cross on Kenny and all the hard work she’s put in so far! Thanks to everyone who helped out and supported us leading up to the day!

25.01.2022 5 months ago Zeus began being backed and now he’s helping break the next generation in. Apache handled the trail like an old pro, can’t wait for this one to be finished

24.01.2022 Northern Lights (aka Zeus) at Moggill T-shirt Hack Show a few weeks back. Not bad for a breaker but definitely plenty to work on! by MCJukes Photography

24.01.2022 Next month will mark one year since Zues (Northern Lights) was started under saddle and what a nice horse he has turned out to be! He’s had a lot of time off with my busy schedule but he takes it all in his stride. This was his first ride back in a couple of weeks

21.01.2022 What a weekend! I took the boys camping up at Mt Barney Wilderness Retreat on Friday. We started at the base of the mountain and rode all the way up through some pretty tough terrain. Both horses handled it so well and did it in about 45 minutes with a fair bit of trotting. Coming down yesterday was much slower because of the slippery surface but still a beautiful ride!

21.01.2022 Thought for the day: Horses are great levellers. Your horse will find your strength of character and expose your weaknesses and all without saying a word. Whe...n there is just you and your horse you will find horses like quiet confidence much more than egotism. Your horse does not care for materialism or how important you may think you are. He does not care what your past is or what you have planned for the future. He only cares about how you act and how you feel inside. You can’t hide that from a horse. See more

19.01.2022 White t-shirts and grey polo shirts now available for pre-order. See previous post for price list or send us a message

19.01.2022 Best feeling in the world cantering the horses through the bush with Bryson Went

18.01.2022 A couple of my favourite shots of Zeus He’s come such a long way in his time here. Very exciting future ahead of this one!!

18.01.2022 Northern Lights on his way to scoring 63.2% in his first prelim start for 5th place

17.01.2022 Harvey has been an absolute dream to back so far! This is his third ride and he’s already learning to turn with his shoulders off the leg and coming up into the contact. What a smart boy! He will be up for sale once he has finished being re-trained and would suit an experienced hack or competition home - PM for enquires

16.01.2022 It was so nice to get the orange boys out for a session in the Riverview arena yesterday. Zeus has had an easy couple of weeks so I had my work cut out for me with one very floppy pool noodle but we got a nice workout in the end

15.01.2022 To those that have ordered and paid for shirts we will be dispatching them within the next few days. Our little production line had been put on hold last week to allow time to prep the horses but we are back on track today. Apologies for the delay!

11.01.2022 Sunday’s done right!

11.01.2022 First ride for this little lady yesterday. I’ve taken my time on the ground work with Apache because although she seems extremely quite it’s often the ones who seem shut down that can explode when the pressures on. I spent a lot of time in the early stages encouraging her to express her emotions rather than just tolerating this process. So far she has been wonderful to work with and I have no doubt she’ll make a nice trail or pleasure mount in future. Apache will be up for sale once she has finished being educated and had some miles. DM if you’re interested in her.

10.01.2022 Little day trip up to Gympie over the weekend with Bandit

10.01.2022 Shirts now available via preorder!! As some of you already know we have been working on new uniforms for my equestrian business and have decided to make some extras for those that would like to support me on my journey. At the beginning of the year I decided to step into rehabilitating and rehoming horses full time and haven’t looked back. I’ve managed to find homes for around 15 retired racehorses which may not seem like a lot but I prefer to take my time with their re-educa...tion and work through things at a pace that best suits the individual horse. I’m also very particular about the homes that they end up in and can confidently say I’m still in touch with all the new owners and get regular updates. Most of the horses I have rehomed are at my own personal expense and as any horse owner knows there is always a financial loss when it comes to this sort of thing. From constantly increasing hay prices to vet bills, acupuncture, chiro, dental and the list goes on! By purchasing any of the shirts or hats you’ll be supporting both myself and my mums awesome new business of designing prints and gifts. They will be available by pre-order and postage is available anywhere in Australia. Price list: Hats (Black, White or Grey) - $15 Polo shirts (Black) - $25 T-shirts (Black or White) - $20 Please message me any enquires.

10.01.2022 Some photos of the boys from the weekend Thanks Emmy Nomikos Photography for sponsoring the class and providing us with these stunning shots!

09.01.2022 Boonara Bandit also competed today in his first dressage test scoring 58.9% with a couple of 7’s in there so proud of the little cow horse!

09.01.2022 Boonara Bandit making use of the freshly painted jump poles

06.01.2022 Almost 7 weeks in to his ridden career and his first time in an indoor arena for our lesson with Gary Lung. What a good boy!! Zeus is wearing his Ippico saddle pad

05.01.2022 Kenny feeling fresh with his new clip He fell asleep letting me clip his ears, what a good boy!!

04.01.2022 5 months since Zeus was started under saddle and this weekend will be his first competition at Moggill Show. Can’t wait to see how he handles the atmosphere! Canter leads are still a work in progress so we will likely just takes things easy but will be great exposure for him.

03.01.2022 Boonara Bandit having a play at TEG today in preparation for the weekend. Love this boy

02.01.2022 We have made the hard decision to part with one of our long term team members ‘Kenny’. 13yo Blingy Chestnut Thoroughbred gelding Been there done that!... 16.3hh approx Kenny has been used to teach beginners how to ride walk, trot, canter and laterals. Been to the beach, overnight trails, hack shows, dressage days and is always very well behaved out. No buck, bolt, rear etc. Kenny would suit beginners in a controlled environment/supervised or intermediate to experienced riders looking to compete. Priced at 6000 neg to the best home only Videos and more photos available Located Tamborine, QLD

01.01.2022 Harvey (aka Spook)

01.01.2022 Best kids over the weekend despite my total lack of preparation and a few rider errors during the tests. Boonara Bandit took home second place in the prep C (his second ever dressage start) with 64.25% Northern Lights had a 4th in the prep C with 63.75% and 10th out of a big class in the Prelim 1a. Still super tense in his trot and canter but considering both horses had 2 rides leading up to the weekend I’m pretty stoked with their efforts!
