25.01.2022 Wonderful to share in something so special at this difficult time. Hopefully the cold wet change over the last few days is making a differenceLuckily Mitchelton Wines had a magical plan b for Rachel and Bens ceremony on Saturday. Instead of getting blown away on the river deck we moved to their romantic underground cellar. In fact I think it would be my plan a! Walking through the long candlelit tunnel felt like a movie. The ceremony was relaxed, warm and intimate in the co...sy cellar chamber. Afterwards everyone gathered in the underground Indigenous art gallery- another one of Mitcheltons delightful surprises with some of the most spectacular paintings Ive ever seen. Congratulations to the beautiful Mr and Mrs Wilson And thanks to legend @freethebirdweddings for indulging me with the iPhone snap (and helping find the rose petals) cant wait to see your pro shots of this one See more

25.01.2022 Jane, AJ & little Henry.. such a delight! Brimming with happiness and soaking up every moment at @thecraftandco I have to say champagne on arrival makes for a fun ceremony. Everyone was relaxed, in the moment and laughing and crying at the same time. All beautifully captured by @tony_evans_photo Congratulations Jane and AJ!

24.01.2022 If there was ever a fire and we could only grab one thing, this would be it! The most treasured gift from my wedding is this incredible painting by the talented Shakey who painted it from start to finish during our reception.. a gift from my parents and a complete surprise. It added such an incredible element to the evening! It still blows me away how accurate and beautiful it is

24.01.2022 I caught up with this lovely couple on the weekend and got to reminisce about their wedding in Tassie last year. It was such a dramatic location for a ceremony with the icebreakers in the background and rain looming (quickest signing of the documents ever!) I still feel relief that nobody put a foot wrong on the pier and ended up in the water. Fast forward a year and they now have a beautiful baby girl Paul Redding Photographer

23.01.2022 In my element at Kate and Taylors wedding This was such a genuinely relaxed occasion. Both Kate and Taylor were mingling with their guests before the ceremony and we literally just wandered up to the front of the room, dinged a glass of champers and began! Kate left me a review recently and she said Claire made us both feel a part of the process, allowing us to scrap all that sappy stuff you hear at weddings and really let us be ourselves. This makes me so pleased! Thats what a love about being a celebrant.. meeting so many different couples and creating something that really suits them and makes them feel at ease. Congratulations Kate and Taylor . Photos by Amy Weavall

23.01.2022 Sunshine, is that you?! Woohoo the sun is out and Im off to a wedding

21.01.2022 Jane, AJ and little Henry.. such a delight!

20.01.2022 One year today There was so much to love about Carly and Rob’s wedding.. being August it should have been chilly but it turned out to be the most idyllic spring day, I got to experience the incredible @tobitobi.co in action and Carly was probably the most relaxed and happy bride I’ve ever seen walk down the isle. She sang and smiled and laughed the whole way. Such a stunner inside and out! Congratulations @carlylennon__ and Rob @ Coombe Yarra Valley

19.01.2022 Maybe everyone already knows this but I only just learned that the tradition of carrying flowers stems from the Middle Ages when brides carried strong smelling herbs and spices to fend off evil spirits and mask the smell of their body odour! How far weve come hey

19.01.2022 Its such a joy for me when I can feel the bride and groom really enjoying the ceremony. These two are such a fun and happy couple, they literally giggled throughout the whole thing. I almost wondered if I should be telling them off! Stunning setting at @narkoojeewinery today and we got so lucky with the weather Congratulations Mikayla and Will, what a pair you areI wish we could do it again!!! @ Narkoojee Winery

18.01.2022 My heart is still skipping beats after a perfect afternoon in the stunning Italian garden today at Coombe in the Yarra Valley.. the florals, sunshine, cherry blossoms and sweet sounds of Tobitobi serenading us all. The ceremony was brimming with so much love, laughs and raw emotion. I still cant believe I get to be part of such special moments. And I cant wait to share some pictures of the stunning bride

17.01.2022 All the little moments of Tamsin and Stephens ceremony captured beautifully by @kyraboyerweddings. You would never have known it was a bit cold and wet.. all the warmth and love radiating from their guests felt like a big group hug around us Thanks so much for having me Tamsin and Stephen, congratulations!! @basilsfarmweddings @ Basils Farm

17.01.2022 Im so thrilled to have married my first same sex couple this afternoon! Kath and Sally have been engaged for 12 years, patiently waiting for the law to change. To say it was an emotional ceremony would be an understatement. There were tears, raucous laughter, dance music, dachshunds and lots of glitter I had a ball! Congratulations Kath and Sally

17.01.2022 Sijka and Bens wedding in Carlton Gardens was my last ceremony before Covid set in. What a surreal time to begin married life! No doubt these two are still laughing together as much as ever. Such a warm, fun and sociable couple! I loved telling the story of how they met - at their regular pub trivia night of all places. Each week their two rival teams would always be seated on a long table next to each other. Over time the teams started to mix and they all became friends. Bu...t two of them, Sika and Ben, clearly had a special spark and connection. Thanks to a strategic booze drop one night out by one of their mates, they were finally left alone together with drinks in hand.. and the rest is history! So much fun sharing some of the funny details at the ceremony and giving a shout out to all their trivia friends in the audience. Hopefully theyll be back at the pub again soon. Congratulations again legends! X Photos by DS images - Dean Schmideg

16.01.2022 Indoor ceremonies are my favourite! This was so special in Mitchelton Estates underground cellar for Rachel and Bens wedding.. such a dramatic and intimate setting. Loved that it was black tie and almost felt like being on a dreamy film set. Beautiful photos courtesy of @freethebirdweddings @mitcheltonweddings @ Mitchelton Wines

16.01.2022 Im so glad to have had Claire as our celebrant. From our first phone call, I knew I had found the person who would marry us. Our first meeting with her was no different, we instantly felt at ease with her gentle and warm nature. Throughout the journey to our big day, communicating with Claire was effortless as she guided us through each step to make our day magical. We had so many compliments on how lovely she was and how she created such a relaxed setting. Our ceremony was perfect and I couldnt be happier xx Thank you Claire! Today: Oscar slept until 7.20am(rather than 5.30 as usual), the sun was out, and I received these lovely photos and review from one of my happily married couples. Its been a good day

15.01.2022 I love living in the inner west and feel very lucky to have been part of the team coordinating this project at work. What a wonderful result... such talent!

14.01.2022 Hello, Im Claire! I thought I should introduce myself to a few new faces and give everyone a little update of my whereabouts. So a bit about me (hightlights reel..) My 20s: ~ mostly spent studying, salsa dancing and travelling - a year in Canada, one in the UK, two years in Central and South America and one in Europe. ... ~ meeting my now husband in a little bar in Nicaragua when I was volunteering as a volcano hiking guide My 30s: ~ coming home to Perth and building my career in comms- like corporate affairs, media, stakeholder relations, that type of thing. ~ Living in the NT for a couple of years. ~ Getting married to Aidan and having two little boys together - Oscar is nearly 3yrs and baby Arthur is nearly 3 months old Why a celebrant? I became a celebrant a couple years ago because I wanted to do something creative and joyful and it seemed like a fun thing to do alongside my often stressful job. I didnt really know where the idea would lead but Ive now had the pleasure of marrying couples all throughout Victoria, Perth, South Australia and Tasmania. Its been incredible! And now? So weve had a ball living in Melbourne for the last two years but with everything going on in Victoria and a newborn baby we decided to retreat home to Perth for awhile. Never have a felt more grateful to be home sweet home! Im really excited about the upcoming wedding season and to be now taking bookings for weddings in Perth and down south!

14.01.2022 One of my favourite parts of the ceremony! A lovely little pause we all get to take a breath and soak up the moment.. just married, everything is perfect, all your family and friends are mingling and happy, shortly you get to walk back down the isle together and let the party begin. That beautiful smile says it all Moment captured perfectly by @biancavirtue x

13.01.2022 So chuffed to be a part of Nikki and Jaydens wedding which was featured on Ivory Tribes blog recently. This is when DIY takes on a whole new meaning! This lovely couple did so much of the design and styling themselves Have a goggle: https://ivorytribe.com.au/real-wedding-nikki-jayden-yarra-/

13.01.2022 How lucky am I to be part of such a joyous moment! Some kind words from this special couple Carly and Rob Claire, thank you for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. I couldnt have imagined the process being more fun and happy. ... The day itself was full of laughter, smiles and joy and we have you to thank for that. I didnt once feel nervous, only supported the whole way! We cant thank you enough. So many of our beautiful guests commented on how lovely the ceremony was. It was one of the parts I hadnt given much thought to in the lead up but looking back was one of my favorite parts of the day! Thank you for your infectious smile and passion. Thank Bianca Virtue for the beautiful photo, Coombe Yarra Valley for the stunning Italian garden and Wild Flos for the florals.. and youll have to use your imagination for the sweet tunes of Tobi Tobi

12.01.2022 The sun came through the trees and shone right on the spot where we were signing the marriage certificates. What an omen for this lovely couples marriage

12.01.2022 Excited to be moving back to the old Fremantle stomping grounds! So many great spots to meet couples for vino + wedding planning.. I’m thinking Mrs Browns and Strange Company are good starters for mid week meetings. Where else should I try?? Tyler Brown Photography

11.01.2022 A sunny Sunday afternoon wedding under a fig tree today! I just love small weddings... it feels like all the guests arent just watching the ceremony, theyre a part of it. It was meant to be just a few of us but Stephanie and Angus family and friends kept surprising them with booking flights from Switzerland and New Zealand. We even had a crowd Skyping in from Zurich drinking champagne at 5am. This is what can happen when you book a Bali retreat. You end up meeting the love of your life and starting a trans continental relationship. Finally wed these two can slow down and just enjoy being together. Im so happy for them!

11.01.2022 I love how no two weddings are the same! It was so much fun to marry Kate and Taylor at this sweet little spot in Brunswick. It perfectly matched their relaxed and easy going vibes. They arrived together to greet everyone, had a lovely ceremony with lots of laughs and certainly a few tears and then some bubbles and lunch to bring in the afternoon, perfecto @ Brunswick Mess Hall

10.01.2022 Some fun ways to choose your witnesses.. Maybe its a random passerby or perhaps a lucky dip with your wedding guests! I love how something like this helps creates an opportunity to break up the ceremony and give everyone a chance to shuffle in their seats, pause, relax and take in the moment a bit more Surfer snap with Shannon Jeans - Celebrant and Dan Brannan Photography Lucky dip with @yourbigdayhq and @dawnthomsonphoto

10.01.2022 Cheers to this beautiful bride! Nikki and Jayden scored the most idyllic weather yesterday for their garden ceremony at @fondata1872 With rolling green fields and kangaroos in the distance, not a breath of wind and the glow of the late afternoon sun on us, it all felt like a dream come true. Such an adorable couple, it was so lovely to be part of their wedding and see their vision unfold.. theyre both talented creatives and did so much themselves including making this beautiful arbour and signage and Nikki designed her dress. Amazing Congratulations you two @ Fondata 1872

09.01.2022 Congratulations to this beautiful bride and my dear friend Laura! It was such a honour to attend Laura and Sebs wedding yesterday as their friend and celebrant. A wonderful whirlwind weekend in Perth.. flying home tonight exhausted but heart full

05.01.2022 Love story! These two beautiful souls met at a high school party 11 years ago! Who wouldve thought that their teenage romance would turn into such a magical life long partnership. All these years on and they still have that spark between them, that bit of magic which makes life such a joy. On the weekend they were married surrounded by all their friends and family cheering them on. It was an absolute goosebump filled ceremony for me watching them exchange vows with so much ...love and joy. 04.01.2022 Last night we celebrated my mum and dads 40th wedding anniversary! FORTY YEARS I loved hearing the story again of how they got married. They took the gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain in Banff, with just a celebrant and their friends who they were travelling in a van with, wearing their jeans and carrying some illegally picked wildflowers. This is the only photo they have. When I was a kid we went back and all stood under the same tree they had had the ceremony. Ive always admired their wedding story and growing up I remember feeling proud my parents did things differently! Theyve never worn wedding rings but last night Dad gave mum a beautiful ring he had made with our family birth stones. Such a special night

03.01.2022 A little sneak into Carly and Robs beautiful wedding @coombeyarravalley captured by @moonandbackco Such dreamy perfection. 03.01.2022 So much fun coming out to greet these two. Dave, Renee and Larry literally strolled on down from their house, with some of the locals waving and cheering along the way. The ceremony couldn’t have been better with a gorgeous little venue, hilarious vows and guests with espresso martini’s in hand One year today!! Happy anniversary my friends . by @goldandgrit
