25.01.2022 Had the pleasure of marrying these two a little while back and that’s their little guy (Griff) roaming around in the background. Such a cool little dude - Alli & Ryan... Thank you for such a fun afternoon
25.01.2022 Anna + Andrew Almost 10 years after meeting at uni, these super chilled love birds wed. With a newborn baby girl in their lives, they planned the most gorgeous wedding and were blessed with the most perfect weather to suit. This fun filled, yet relaxed day completely reflects on how easy these two were to work with. #herehere @everlongevents_ Anna + Andrew’s wedding was featured in @polkadotbride in early 2020.... 23.01.2022 Mulling over some alternate wedding plans due to our strange new world? Ponder following in the footsteps of Benny & Naomi. A couple of weeks ago, we had a cuppa and I suggested they look in to Kimo Estate. A few weeks later they’d made plans to elope to Gundagai. Stayed a night at @flash.jacks and tied the knot @kimoestate #mcsweeneys #hut ... via @miltongan #alternativewedding #alternativeweddings #covidwedding #covidweddingplanning See more
23.01.2022 Inquiries come through in many ways... Whether it’s via the online, word of mouth or a hand written note... over the weekend, I received a letter in the post. - This further emphasises the uniqueness of people, the uniqueness of doing things your own way, the uniqueness of your very own love story. Bringing this to life in ceremonies is most definitely our aim...
23.01.2022 Happy one week anniversary Jade + Louis #thistime #lastweek @eeriksandstromphotography
23.01.2022 We got a new logo It might be a little bit out of the typical wedding box but it feels like (M)US and we like weddings that feel like you too, a celebration that represents you two as a couple. Own what you want on your special day. Maybe it’s something traditional, maybe it’s something completely out of the box or maybe it’s the perfect balance between the two... whatever you decide, we’ve gotcha!
23.01.2022 I had the privilege of serving Kasi & Shane coffee on their first date back during @scouts_honour days... - Kasi was our number one regular and we all sensed the very fact that she’d chosen to come to scouts... that he was someone spesh. Just a few years later, I had the privilege of marrying them. Such sweet hearts. Keep adventuring you two.
21.01.2022 Whilst these two had intentions on tying the knot out on their property in Braidwood. The fires over the Xmas break required them to relocate to a backyard in Canberra. Regardless of the last minute change, it was a gorgeous event, aided by the wonderful support of friends and family. - Ange & Sarah, was an absolute pleasure sharing your love story
21.01.2022 What do love and boomerangs have in common....? They never get old. - I was lucky enough to marry these two yesterday and I couldn’t be more chuffed! Such beautiful humans to work with - May you forever enjoy your camping trips, coffee of a morning and crappy movie nights at home. #simplethings ... - @smpoolie @nicola_bolger See more
21.01.2022 Hello! Since facing some recent health stuff, I’ve decided to step back from the tools full time and focus on my Celebrant work (alongside making stuff), but more of an even balance between the two. I have just started a Funeral course and would like to enter into this space. From an outsider’s perspective, Funeral Celebrancy appears like a tough gig, rewarding yet challenging. Having practiced as a qualified Celebrant now for the last 4 years, I am ready to explore what ...else I can do in this role. Funerals, as unfortunate as they are, they’re an opportunity to celebrate a life & inevitably brings people together. I envisage my role as delivering the service, co-ordinating speakers, readers, cueing the music, visual representations & liaising with the funeral arrangers the whole way through. Not only the logistics of the service but also in the lead up to, chatting to loved ones, determining particulars & helping compile a life story that represents the person who has passed. When someone dies, their memories live on, the opportunity to bring their story to life at their funeral service needs to be done with sensitivity and poise. I’d like the opportunity to contribute parts of myself to this difficult time of grief and loss, whilst adding colour in celebrating a life lived. See more
21.01.2022 Sometimes I share in the privilege of marrying friends. On this particular occasion, April helped piece together Jen & Milo’s ceremony (mainly the love story part) of which we both then attended. Here’s a gorgeous shot of the woman herself... @leantimms (looking forward to seeing more snaps - you’re epic Lean!)
18.01.2022 Snippet of a love story for you... meet Annie & Chris. They met far back in pre-school and overlapped with schooling there after. They weren’t considered high school sweethearts per se - they attended different local schools, but good old fate brought them together again when they started their first jobs in year 9 at McDonalds in Tamworth. Cute. It was a slow burn, but there was definitely something in the air. SO much so that one night at a party, Chris took it upon himself to tell Annie’s then boyfriend, that one day he would marry his girlfriend. It almost landed him in a fight but who knows, maybe also a soon to be author on the power of manifestation. These two were a hoot. Had a lot of fun collaborating with Chris and Annie, helping them create a ceremony that represented their love story to date. @mattgodkinweddings
17.01.2022 No words required. @alltheloveletters
17.01.2022 Rainy days reminds me of our wedding day, this shot was taken in the midst of April and I not really have a plan b for the ceremony venue. Our small hoard of guests were redirected here to my families home (reception venue) whilst we were deciphering a plan. Throughout the day we just kept banking on the clouds parting. - Thankfully they did for the half an hour that was required for us to scoot over to Isaacs Ridge and do the deed. We were rather fortunate. - Anyway. Lesson learned. Always have a plan b and gently ask Mother Nature to be kind to you and your lover #worthatry
17.01.2022 These. Two. Gems.
16.01.2022 2 years ago I got to marry this wondrous human. * April also ghost writes a lot of the ceremonies I share :) Thank you in all the ways x
14.01.2022 Dani + Frank - This dreamy open air chapel created by @dbj_events was the home for this celebration. We felt like we were most certainly in nature but in the same breath it felt intimate within the simple frame. We were outside but contained within our own private space. - Shot by the wonderfully talented v@jannekestorm featured by the extra special humans at @wedshed ... - CREDITS for all the rad humans: Photography @jannekestorm // Videography @redscopefilms // Venue @glenworthvalleyweddings // Flowers @merringracefloraldesign // Catering @cheesyduzit and @cheesetablesbyash // Cake @eversosweetcakes // Stationery The Print Fairy // Bridal Gown @lovefoundtrue // Bridal Shoes Aquazurra // Veil Made with Love Bridal // Accessories Custom Leather Jacket by Bash Calligraphy // Grooms Suit @institchu // Rings Varoujan Jewellers, Parade Jewellers, @grewandco // Makeup Nadeen Hunt Makeup // Music DJ Lazer and I Am Wolfpack // Celebrant Marry Us Sally // Bespoke Furniture Hire @katalanetents // Vintage Caravan @vandanvintagecaravan // Neon Signage @customneon See more
12.01.2022 Perfect Wedding formula. Big love, simplicity, epic humans and copious amount of laughter.
11.01.2022 Just got my hands on some snaps of Kahlea & Jack of whom tied the knot a little while back. Stunning. Amy @alltheloveletters

11.01.2022 Was so damn fabulous sharing this day with Kate & Dave last year at the wondrous venue @kimoestate - Just a stones throw away from where Dave and I first met, age 5, playing soccer for PCYC in good ol’ Wagga Wagga.
11.01.2022 Congrats to these salt of the earth humans! Last Saturday Thom and Ellie tied the knot a stones throw from where they met! Although the venue was not their first choice, nor the choice after that...after multiple covid challenges it made sense to relocate to Laurel Hill. Which meant Ellie’s folks could make the trip over the Victorian border. Such a sweet and intimate gathering Congrats on the baby bump too Sal x... @jasonrobinsphotographyau See more
10.01.2022 Little bro and sissy-in-law appreciation post. Can’t wait to meet that lil’ human inside ya Brookey. Not long now. Snap was taken last November at Will & Erin’s wedding @borambolawines
10.01.2022 Arrived home to a heartfelt message from this wonderful pair. Often I feel like the couples deserve testimonials from me. I am so lucky with whom I get to connect with and spend time with in the lead up to a day that is full of so much joy, emotion, love and thoughtfulness. - This moment was snapped as the ceremony was about to begin... The three of us land and nervously giggle, we whisper stuff to each other like... are we ready?! - Vendor shout out:... @silentshoutent @woodvillecommunityhall @vandanvintagecaravan @benedictsutton @pushingpansies @shazzamtoronto @edencateringandevents @michellejackson_hair @lorenmuranemakeup See more

09.01.2022 Hey guys. It’s been a busy month of wedding prep and with the beginning of the season ahead, I’m trying to use my time as efficiently as possible. A bit of the ‘less is more’ approach. I’d like to spend more time thinking about how I participate in peoples days than what I share on the inter webs through social media. Whilst instagram is a great marketing tool, I want to direct my energy towards a few weddings before Christmas. I’ll be back and am totally contactable for any enquiries via email or a sweet ol’ chit chat on the blower. - @whoshotthephotographer x
08.01.2022 That time of year already?!? Bookings for 2022 are in the mix beautiful humans. Reach out with any questions you might have, I look forward to it!
07.01.2022 Married some seriously beautiful humans yesterday, once strangers, now considered friends. Regardless of all the swings and round a-bouts of life... it’s important to do things your own way. Which includes, tying the knot however you like and if that’s ‘registry style’ in your own back yard, with hand written vows, a couple of witnesses and a sprinkle of fam in tow... Then so be it. - #registrystylewedding #handwrittenvows #legalwording #signedsealeddelivered @ Braidwood, New South Wales
07.01.2022 B L O G time! How I married this bird on a budget. Hit the link in my bio for a read. Not for everyone but it did feel so so right for us! Vendors include: ... Celebrant: @hitchedbyhannah - we signed our legal paperwork the day before w/ Hannah @abitetoeatchifley & my little bro, Matty officiated our ceremony on the day Snaps: @whoshotthephotographer - James is lovely and he captured so many fab moments. He also came out and helped us scout our spot Our doo’s: @kat_leehair (a mate of ours cut out hair a few weeks before and had grown out to the perfect length) Foods stuff: Steph Gorman @stephlgorman (a lovely friend of ours who is a master in the kitchen). Outfit: @salasai & @kuwaii (ethical and very cooool) Rings: @ernestandjoe (sweet family run and owned jeweller in Geelong, April’s home town). Cake Maker: @sweetbonesbakery (vegan goodness!!)
05.01.2022 Sunday afternoon, perfect time for an intimate Autumn wedding. Joel + Tora. You’re both so damn delightful.
05.01.2022 If you’re planning your love fest in the midst of COVID-19, you’re probably wondering what you should do... should you even have the wedding? What are the alternatives? Re-thinking your wedding date, location, and guest count is more than likely at the forefront of your noggin’. I’ve scribbled some words and thoughts on my blog about a recent Covid wedding that I officiated. It may have been slightly unconventional and not what they’d imagined, but it was SO full of all the feels. Link in bio Sal x

02.01.2022 Postponing and rescheduling... It’s definitely been strange navigating this time with couples. Feeling for the lovers but also feeling for every human because we’re all affected by this. Let’s counteract the social distance with increased contact via tech. ... Let’s take the opportunity to slow down and sit with the discomfort. Let’s counteract the fear of the unknown with the exceptance of our reality and adapt. Can’t think of a way to sign off. See more
02.01.2022 A year ago we got married. Today, we will be cooking a curry for dinner, drinking warm bevvies in the sun and hanging out w/ family. No matter how long you’ve been together, no matter the circumstances of the world. I hope you’ll always find cute ways of celebrating one another. ... @whoshotthephotographer See more
01.01.2022 Woooo hoooo! The secrets out! One week ago, these two got hitched. Original plans took many different forms before deciding on a @kimoestate getaway. It was the smallest ceremony I’ve conducted to date. The delightful photographer @miltongan even doubled as a witness. We managed to find another (in the owner of the property - thank you Christine) and bam we legally had all humans required to make this happen. Benny is a long standing mate of mine and I couldn’t have bee...n more pleased with how the doo turned out for him and Naomi. They were forced to think out of the box and that they did! As unfortunate as it was not to have family and friends present, they can’t wait to celebrate with all when able to do so. Naturally their vows and the scenery stole the show. Given the fact these two live in the centre of Paris (which couldn’t look more different than this setting), they’ll be able to take the memory and the view of the Australian landscape wherever in the world they find themselves. I’ve shared Milton’s fab post on his website in my bio. Check it out! He sums it up perfectly.
