25.01.2022 So last weekend I was lucky enough to have Mari Lobbestael (Galestorm Labradors) & Sarah Barlow take my beautiful girl Rogue (Marsebal Lady Darnold) to the ADSS... dog shows for me. So incredibly proud to have Rogue recognised in the PM show by Group 3 judge Mrs Vicki Schneider (Qld) & Group Specials judge Mrs Chris McGreevy (Qld) for her quality. Rogue won her breed class Intermediate Bitch, then went on to win the Challenge Bitch, followed by Reserve of Breed to Therese Bussell’s lovely Boy Sooty (Galestorm Black Ice)... She then thrilled us by winning Best Intermediate in Group (Gundogs) and followed it up with Best Intermediate in Show!!! Rogue is sired by the very handsome Scout (Aust Ch. Wynstream Gosh be Darnold owned by Mari & Sarah) out of the extremely beautiful Whisper (BISS Aust Ch. Graebar Study’s Secret owned by Julie McLaurin)... her Grandsire is the one and only Am Ch. Dickendall Arnold!!! Her mother Marsebal Lady Day is sired by NZ Ch. Croftsway Manolito (Julie Bedford) out of my gorgeous Molly (Marsebal Lyrical Breeze owned by Jill Scott)... I am so totally impressed by the standard of pups sired by Scout!!! I have used him a couple of times, and his pups are amazing!!! I will hopefully get his other daughter Xena out one of these days!! I can’t thank Mari & Sarah enough for taking Rogue out, and showing her for me... Those that know me well, know that I’m not very graceful and am not great on the end of the lead!!! Rogue has the most delightful and loving nature, and has always been a standout to me against our breed standard... so it’s wonderful for her to have an opportunity to be recognised. She has had her first litter of pups, sired by the amazing import Chablais Henry, earlier in the year and their progeny were amazing also! Thank you to all my lovely labrador breeding friends (Mari Lobbestael, Glenice McClure, Julie McLaurin, Raymond Attard, Julie Bedford, Gill Harding especially)... It’s truly a privilege for you trust me with their precious grand babies by allowing me to use your dogs!

11.01.2022 I NEED PACKING BOXES AND PORT-A-ROBES!!! Hi all!! Well I haven’t really announced this yet, but we’ve bought a new house!!!! Yes, we get the keys at the end of... the month to a beautiful 10acres at Finniss, where I can have the horses at home, no close neighbours, and lots of room for my dogs without Council breathing down my neck!!! So, before we start the process of getting my gorgeous house at Macclesfield ready for sale (oh boy will I miss my garden, its been a big labour of love for both myself and my wonderful gardener Robert Rutherford, and I’m going to miss seeing all the jasmine spread and roses bloom! ), FIRST I have to PACK AND MOVE!! So, if anyone has any packing boxes they no longer need (especially the port-a-robes for clothing), I’d be especially grateful and happy to take them off your hands!!! Sebastian Geppert will come and pick them up, or meet you, so it’s not a burden!! It’s been over 4 years since we last moved, (and in my head this is my LAST EVER MOVE) however the trauma is still fresh, I really hate packing and moving... I just wish I could wave a magic wand and it all go from one place to the other!!! So anyone free to help out the first week in October will be happily fed & watered (champagne or beers)!! I can’t wait to get it all dog proofed, puppy ready, and finally not worry any time a dog barks!! Plus to have my horses back home , looking over the fence at me, will also be really special!!

01.01.2022 Would any of my recent puppy buyers, particularly the ones who just picked up a pup from Strife & Sooty, have time to take them to see Sooty’s breeder in Heathfield (just near Stirling)?? She has a cancer sufferer breeding friend, who is terminal, and one of her last requests is to see some of their pups... I can advise further on timing...
