22.01.2022 Marsfield’s Australians of the year! Our 2018 Marsfield Australian’s of the year are Fred and Zoe, that's how we know them as. Fred & Zoe came to Australia in 2000, with the sole purpose to provide and create a great life for their young daughter. Now, 18 years later, Fred a highly skilled engineer in China, who completely reinvented himself as a chef, proudly works for a five-star hotel in Sydney’s CBD. Zoe, who was a teacher, now teaches Chinese to children, as well as ad...ults. Their daughter is an environmental lawyer, who studied at Macquarie University, has worked in the USA, and is now back working in Sydney. Marsfield is proud to have such a rich multicultural community, and to be part of the diverse culture that makes Australia so rich. Unsung heroes like Zoe and Fred, who have such gratitude for their Australian home, and who make a contribution to our community deserve to be recognised. And, so we want to honour Zoe and Fred as Marsfield’s 2018 Australian of the Year!
