24.01.2022 Troy’s cortina all finished up at Marshall speed shop . It end up getting a custom built uneven 4 link clip to retain the rear seat and help when radial racing,6 point Andra spec cage, pro 9 diff housing with strange floater ends,track locator,Anti roll bar,removable parachute mount,sheet metal and tail shaft tunnel.

23.01.2022 Wow what an amazing week last week was at Marshall speed shop. With Mark Drew running 7.33 @ 190mph on Monday and Then taking Daniel’s newly built HQ Monaro to qld for jamboree testing and finish off with him running 7.37 @193 mph on low boost. Booth of these cars are running 275 radial tyres and are street cars with stock suspension. Daniel originally called me up to add a few bars and bring the already existing cage up to spec as the cage was done around 7 years ago. The ...job then snowballed once I found out what Daniels goals for the car were. He wanted a fast Drag Challenge car, so The upgrades ended up include a whole new suspension set up , engine containment tray, gazzard Anti roll bar, Removable twin chute set up, maven turbo mounts,santhuff shocks, throttle cable set up and fire system bottle mounted. Daniel had never been on a drag strip before and did an absolutely amazing job of driving the 3800+lb car. 20.01.2022 We had Lachlan’s Ute in back in before Christmas with hopes of getting the rear end set up to run a 275 radial on a 12 rim so he could make it to summer nats. With a lot of hard work, he made it. The work included, a race products sheet metal housing and floater axles, strange floaters,gazzard bro’s shocks, enemies everywhere anti roll bar, pro9 bracketry and wishbone track locator, notched rails, seat mounts, harness mounts, brake lines, fuel cell mounting and wiring, removable parachute mount and cable set up. Cheers to the guys at race parts of Melbourne for supplying the wheels and a whole lot of the other parts we needed.

19.01.2022 Last weekend we took a few cars to the track at swanhill for some testing before this years street Machine drag challenge, resulting in a few pb’s Mark Drew’s Twin turbo Torana #krustytorana ran a PB of 7.23 @ 172MPH with a back off in the deep end due to track conditions. Daniel Szabolic’s Twin turbo big block HQ ran 7.73 @144mph also with a big back... Off due to the same reasons as Mark’s Kai Mcphee ‘s 5.3 ls single turbo VC commodore #Heartbreaker ran a PB of 7.91 @172MPH On his first pass of the day and later backed it up with a 7.93 Todd Foley in his blown LS VH commodore has recently switched over to a 235 radial tyre . The cars showing great results running a 9.1 @147MPH and with a few more changes it should be into the 8’s Matt Lampard ‘s Twin turbo LS powered Hz #lumper showed some progress running into a 1.3 60ft before the pinion on the diff let go. These results wouldn’t be possible without having the best engine and power management tuners in Australia working on the cars. 18.01.2022 Congratulations Daniel Szabolics on running 7.114 @ 202.45mph at a private test day at Sydney on Tuesday. This Hq is a genuine street car and competed in street machines Drag Challenge, completing 1600+ klm and racing 5days. We weighed the car at the track before we raced it Tuesday just to see how heavy it is on race day and it come in at 4015lb, which is no light weight race car.... The best part is that we managed to run those numbers on a hot track with a little slower 60ft then the day before on a bit cooler track, so this car still has more in. 17.01.2022 Leighton’s impala ( I call it the blue whale) came in for a 6 point,fully welded chromoly rollcage. The cage has been welded to the chassis, requiring the Body being to be lifted off the chassis for final welding of the top of the cage. This will make for a way stronger car for when the pro charged big block chev is fitted. A kirkey race seat was also mounted with a set of custom made brackets and a harness to make sure the drive is strapped in safely.... To pull up this land whale we decided to go with a Removable twin chute set up. Then to finish the car off a custom rear boot wing was made. #marshallspeedshop #chromoly #rollcage #radials

13.01.2022 Brett’s Torana was in early last year for a Andra spec 6 point cage with removable side intrusion and other bars. He brought it back to get it race ready , so we have done a removable parachute mount and cable, fitted race seat , and set up the rear.

09.01.2022 Here’s a few progress shots of Trav’s Nova rear clip and cage. It’s currently heading out to pro finish Kustom paints for replacement rear 1/4’s and then coming back for alot more work to finish it off.

06.01.2022 A little while back we completed a 6 point chromoly Andra spec cage with removable side intrusion bars in Jesse’s 1963 Dodge Phoenix. His blown 454 chev has had a little rebuild and is now making a bit more more power , hence the need for a cage. I have a bit of a soft spot for gasser and can’t wait to see it out on the track.
