24.01.2022 Have you been missing dancing as much as we have? The countdown is on for when we can open our doors and welcome our DANCE family back into the brand new studio with open arms. We have not only been working hard over the past few months on making the studio look amazing, but we are now working around the clock to prepare for our return to the studio in PERSON!!! Of course, with COVID19 now a part of our lives, things are going to be a little different for a while.. BUT we a...re putting protocols in place to ensure everyones safety is our upmost priority and concern. Although it wont be the normal for a little while, we hope everyone will still take every opportunity to dance! 23.01.2022 There are many reasons we thank our Mums but we are especially grateful for the Dance Mums and the Mums" that adopt us during our dance journey. From doing ou...r makeup before wed learnt how to avoid getting lipstick all over our teeth to the early morning and late night chauffeurs. One week learning how to sew a skirt or fix a pair of pants the night before a competition or award and the next; making sure that we are fed even when we dont feel like eating. "Just make it fashion!" seems to be the theme of our newest restrictions and weve se...en every variant of mask we can think of. From unicorn, leopard prints, the ever classic plain black and weve even some fully crystal numbers for those not content to leave the Swarovski just on the dance floor. There are so many super talented, super stylish, and just plain creative members of our dance family we thought it would be fun to see what masks youre wearing this Winter 2020 season. 21.01.2022 Were a little lost for words at what the Victorian Government announcements mean for us. It will be a little while longer before we can get back to dancing in... our studios again (but weve got some amazing classes planned when we can). We want to take this opportunity to thank our teachers and principals for the amazing work they are doing bringing online content to students, as well as our students and members for taking part in our classes, social activities, and online get-togethers. We are thrilled to announce that we can return to contact between teachers and students in private lessons - with rules still in place to ensure we comply with government guidelines and provide a safe environment for everyone.. -Masks must still be worn at all times in the studio, with the exception of high exertion dances (need to be put back on once dance is finished)... -Sanitise hands on arrival at studio and reapply or wash hands at regular intervals of the duration of your class - we have bottles stationed through out the studio -Social distancing must be maintained at all times within the studio and during classes -Every visitor must still be logged on the class register/ sign in sheet Class capacity can now increase to 20 for some of our classes which has opened up some spots!! 03.01.2022 We are relieved to announce that the recent State Government announcement (3:35pm 30th June) declaring 10 postcodes move back into stage 3 lockdown from Wednesd...ay 1st July 11:59pm, does NOT affect any of our MarShere studios currently. As a group of dance studios MarShere has been working with health authorities to make sure we are being compliant to all requirements, so we can operate our dance studios as safely as possible. We do understand that some students may be affected by the new lockdown announcements. We hope you continue to enjoy our socially distanced dance classes at our 14 locations. Please help us keep each other safe. Refrain from visiting a MarShere studio if you are suffering any illness no matter how minor, or are from one of the 10 postcode areas identified by the State Government. We encourage everyone to get tested for COVID 19, so as a community, we can identify and isolate areas of concern.
