24.01.2022 Another Joey 301 grams found by Clive and family on Salt Valley Road, very lucky they were going back to Bakers Hill and decided to go a different way for a change, saw dead mum went back to have a look, thanks. We now have three in care

20.01.2022 Another joey had a message at 6:55 am from person travelling on the Bindi Bindi road, I was busy feeding so Adrian went mum was dead and joey had got out of mums pouch and very cold so warming him up now, possible 400 grams will weigh him later, I am glad I sent Adrian as I could not have got to him for about an hour, may have been dead by then.

18.01.2022 This little boy is Tommy. A driver accidentally hit and killed his mum. The driver knew to check the pouch and very carefully removed him, kept him warm and took him to a registered experienced carer. Tommy has just opened his eyes and is gaining weight. He spends most of his time in a moisture and temperature controlled intensive care humidicrib while he develops. If you would like to help Tommy grow please consider donating to his care. 16.01.2022 We will be at Bunnings Northam today from 9-4 for a lovely sausage sizzle! Come down and support us and get great food too!

16.01.2022 The brushtail possum named Dame Edna was badly burnt in the Wooraloo fires in February, she came to us with terrible injuries and it was touch and go wether to treat or euthanise. It was decided to treat and with daily treatments for burns to face, ears, feet she progressed through this without any complaints. Sedation and pain relief was used under veterinary advice but her will to live was evident and now she is ready for release, minus one eye that could not be saved. Roby...n did a great job in the treatments and it will be hard for her to see her go but she will be released at our home and supported for a period until she finds her new home somewhere in the bush, here are videos of her getting around in her aviary. For all those who donated to support Dame Edna we thank you as without outside financial support results like this cannot be achieved. All the best to Dame Edna and her future, hope to see her with a baby on her back in the future See more

09.01.2022 BUNNINGS SAUSAGE SIZZLE THIS SATURDAY AT NORTHAM!! Today we spent several hours preparing onions for Marsupial Mammas and Pappas’ sausage sizzle at Bunnings this Saturday. Before the onion induced tears blurred our vision we also put together two of our newly purchased Humidicribs which will really help raise our success rate of keeping Pinkies alive. We have only been able to buy these amazing life savers through kind donations from the public and through fundraising such a...s the Toodyay Markets and Bunnings sausage sizzles. Pinkies like LuLu (pictured) now have a much better chance of making it through to adulthood these little ones should still be in mamas pouch but due to road accidents we are getting in several a week at the minute. This just shows how important it is to check pouches and give us a call if you find a Joey! Please please come and support us on Saturday at Bunnings Northam! You get a delicious sausage sizzle and help save lives! It would also be great if you could share this post to let others know we will be there!

08.01.2022 Another Gidgegannup joey, male, from Dinsdale Road, 221 grams (getting smaller), very lucky, mum was hit last night, MOP decided to check mum this afternoon as she had seen it during the day and found a joey on the ground (very cold). We are still trying to slowly warm it, had 3 mils, few scratches and bruises. Thanks to Tegan (rescuer) and Debbie Dymond who she contacted
