24.01.2022 Yesterday we celebrated another succesful year with mARTas Art Group. And almost everybody could make it to our breakup party. Thanks everyone for coming

24.01.2022 Frangipani sketch in Gouache, a medium I haven't used before.

23.01.2022 We had a gorgeous day today for painting together. My morning exercise was to practise a whale painting on another pour I had left from a previous session

23.01.2022 Promising news today. Step 1 should allow 10 visitors. We might be able to have art group again very soon

22.01.2022 Last week we finished Mondays Art Class by experimenting with palette knifes as most of the group had never work with them. Hopefull we will all meet again in 2020. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for everyone

21.01.2022 This Saturday we are saying 'Goodbye' to our dear friend Patricia who has left us last week. You will be in our heart forever. RIP

21.01.2022 After a long break because of quarantine - https://martablaszak.com//08/art-group-finally-back-on-ag/

20.01.2022 it was a rather hot day for painting with acrylic. But these two ACEO paintings didnt take much time, so got finished before they dried.

20.01.2022 We expect it to be too wet outside tomorrow. It will be too uncomfortable for painting. No art lessons tomorrow

20.01.2022 Zero Covid cases in QLD in the last 24 hours. Hopefully QLD dodged the bullet and we can have art again on coming Wednesday

20.01.2022 Loren continued our 'Australian Native' scheme at home after today's art group and I think the result is really stunning.

19.01.2022 Today Art Group has started again for 2020 and our first exercise this year was on blending. The humid weather was perfect to keep the acrylic wet long enough to blend easily. We followed Matt Fussells instructions on https://thevirtualinstructor.com/acrylic-painting-avocados. and our Avocados looks so good, almost ready to eat.

18.01.2022 It was quiet a cool and grey morning today, but we still had fun at our social Art Group. I was happy to work on 3 little ACEO paintings. One of them will be a present to a future buyer of my artwork seen on www.martablaszak.com

18.01.2022 We were so excited that we could restart art group after such a long break and WHAM, we are shut down again. Two new active Covid19 Cases in Forest Lake!!! And I got sick with a cold and got testet. Thankfully the test was negative. But we decided it is better to be safe than sorry and we will wait for further good news before we continue with the art classes. So no art for sure next week 31st August till 4th September. Sooo sad.

18.01.2022 I love my outdoor art studio

16.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone

15.01.2022 We were only a small group today so we enjoyed it with a champagne breakfast. And I still managed to change an older pour into a landscape.

14.01.2022 One positive Corona Case connected to Forest Lake, so we will not have art tomorrow and see how the situation evolves. Hopefully we are safe and can continue next week.

14.01.2022 After not seeing each other since March we had so much catching up to do that nobody had time to paint. But we all had a good time.

13.01.2022 I MISS OUR ART GROUP. Luckily the upcoming exhibition at the St Vincent Hospital is keeping me busy. I have 30 paintings to prepare, making sure that the haven not been damaged during storage, are ready for hanging, have all the labels attached to the back and are safely packed up for transport. These are a couple of paintings that will be in the exhibition

13.01.2022 Tomorrows forecast is 34 degree, so too hot to work outside. So no more art group in 2019. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2020 when we will get together again.

13.01.2022 It was a good decicion not to have art today. It was such a cool and wet day. I hope you all enjoyed it anyway.

12.01.2022 Great news, social art group will start coming Wednesday 15th July at 11am. Hopefully some of you can make it, even if it is only for a chat. Looking forward to see you.

12.01.2022 We repeated our Avocados, but this time we started with a monochrome black and white painting and finished it with a coloured glaze. Can you spot the difference?

12.01.2022 Hi everyone, no art tomorrow or next Wednesday. First Monday art group could meet on 21st September depending on the Covid Situation. We would continue adding objects, like grapes or a glass of wine to our last exercise.

12.01.2022 First art group after Covid restrictions eased. We thought we start easy by looking at negative spaces and why they are important. Turned out it was not that easy after all.

12.01.2022 First Art Group after a long break. On our first day back we tried to paint a glass bottle with red wine. It was not as easy as it looked. Welcome to our group Helena and Sonali.

11.01.2022 Social art is still on tomorrow but we might have to sit in the front as it still will be cold and there is a bit more sun in the front.

11.01.2022 Another drizzly day for art today. There was so much to talk about that nobody had time to paint.

10.01.2022 A small variety of works I have done over the years

10.01.2022 Keeping myself busy and while staying at home during corona times. https://bluethumb.com.au/marta-blaszak-j//dragonfly-316657

09.01.2022 Artgroup is probably suspened for another couple of months. So today I had a break in my decluttering activities and went through my old pours to see if there is one I can transform. Is an A3 size so a rather large painting for me

07.01.2022 Not using reference photos but real flower arrangement in a great session last Monday.

07.01.2022 Today was the preparation for next weeks painting

06.01.2022 everyone did very well today, discovering a little ballerina, and working on the little bird, but sadly I forgot to take photos at the end. Maybe if you took a photo of your work, could you please send it to me? Thanks Susan for sending yours.

06.01.2022 Hi everyone, The weather forecast is for warm at lunchtime but still cool in the morning, so we will keep the 11am starting time for the time being. Looking forward to catch up with all of you.

05.01.2022 Wednesday Art Group is on at 10am on 29th January. See you.

05.01.2022 I wish I could be jumping for joy https://bluethumb.com.au/marta-bla//jumping-for-joy-333799

03.01.2022 Finished another blue pour into an turtle adventure during the Corona Quarantine

02.01.2022 Thanks everybody for coming today. It was enjoyable having a full house.

02.01.2022 Today I finally had time to think about some acrylic pouring. I still had paint left over from the last session I did months ago and wanted to test if they still work. I only used my 20cm x 20cm test canvases and surprisingly still got some cells.
