25.01.2022 Speaking out is fighting back and what better way to fight back but to write a book about your most feared secrets and life challenges. I have a long time friend and student that has done exactly that, Lisa Maree Crisford is a "one in a million" and she has completed her first book. https://www.lisacrisford.com/ I am yet to read Lisa's book but when Lisa first told us of her past and her need to write her story I realized how ignorant I was to her inner turmoil and everyday ...struggle and I was ashamed to be so blind to a friend's needs and heart-broken at the same time. Knowing I needed to do something for her I decided to follow through on something that I have always wanted to accomplish and that was to start a ladies-only Self Defence Class but Covid-19 put an abrupt stop to that in the short term, 2020. Well, I stood proud last night being able to present Lisa with Western Sydney Taekwondo's first ladies-only "Purple Belt" as an ambassador with such courage and dignity. I welcomed Lisa, and congratulated her on being the first Purple Belt recipient in the Western Sydney Taekwondo's ladies-only self-defense class simply called the "Purple Belt Club".

06.01.2022 ******Important Announcement****** Western Sydney Taekwondo will be trialing an additional Junior class Fridays commencing from 5pm until 6pm Friday, April 23. An exclusive "Ladies only Self Defence Class" will commence from 6pm until 7:00pm or until finished. Commencing from the same date....... The Ladies class is that, strictly Ladies only and will run for at least 1 hour but may run until later depending on numbers. 05.01.2022 Unfortunately, Kaelan has had to withdraw from the 2021 State Taekwondo Tournament as he suffered a fractured toe whilst training Thursday evening. He is a true champion and I'm sure he is devastated that he will miss the event but he has already told me he will be back at Black Belt training when it commences next week. We wish him well and hope he is back on both feet soon.
