24.01.2022 We’ve been pretty busy lately with a few Smash and repair jobs, here’s just a few

24.01.2022 We started Leigh’s Fairlane a couple of year’s ago. We started by having the body blasted, then we sealed in epoxy ,then it went off to Dave’s for some extensive rust repairs, including removing the quarter panels, and scuttle top, and a few new door skins etc.We then reapplied epoxy, then Dave and Daniel teamed up to complete the filler work. We then sealed it up into high fill primer. Leigh put the project on hold for 12months,but we are back into it now . We’ve painted o...ut the engine bay, boot area, and dash. Leigh will now fit the engine, and bring it back to us as a running car to complete paint work. See more

21.01.2022 We got some colour on Ken’s 32 Ford Vicky today, just a bit of a tidy up on this one, new fuel tank, and some original style bonnet sides instead of the hot rod louvre’s and fix up a couple of old repairs.

18.01.2022 Something a bit different on this 1947 Vauxhall Wyvern, we’ve given it a coat of satin clean to preserve the patina on this super original tourer. #MSRR #vauxhall #patina

18.01.2022 With the metal work finished up on the De Tomaso, and while we wait on a few parts to continue on with the right hand drive conversion. We’ve rust treated the body and applied epoxy prime ready to start filler work. Cant wait to get some colour on this thing, it’s going to look #MSRR #restoration #detomaso

18.01.2022 Ken dropped by yesterday in the 32 Vicky after he finished getting it back together. We did a few touch ups a couple of week ago and it’s all matched up great.

17.01.2022 The Wanderer has been moving along nicely, with us wrapping up the bodywork last week and moving into polyester stage. #msrr #restoration #wanderer

16.01.2022 If your heading past Bendigo Ford, make sure you check out Dave’s Mustang, in the front window of their showroom

16.01.2022 The Wanderer has been moving along nicely, Daniel has been fine tuning the body going over the gaps and tapping and filing the body. We then tore the body down, rust treated then coating in epoxy primer and are well under way with the filler work.

09.01.2022 Mark hasn’t messed around when it came to assembling the pickup, he’s got it back together in no time We had it back in to run the buff over it ,and fix up a couple of little mishaps in assembly Some hubcaps ,and the front bumper on ,and she’s going to be one sweet ride #martinsmashrepairsandrestorations #MSRR... #baywindow See more

08.01.2022 We had Dave’s Mustang back in this week, to adjust some panels and give it a once over after assembly. Keep an eye out for this beauty, she’ll be hitting the streets in no time #MSRR #martinsmashrepairsandrestorations #mustang #fastback #restoration #sikkens

05.01.2022 A few other car making some good progress in the lead up to Christmas is Glen & Lyn’s FC Holden, Dave had taken care of the rust and metal work including making door skins, replacing sills, floor pans and various other panels, then Daniel and Dave teamed up to complete the filler work. We all jump on it to prep it and get the FC into high fill primer before Christmas. Burnie’s XY Fairmont also making good progress. Dave also took care of the rust and metal work, we then seal...ed it all up in epoxy, and have painted under the floor, engine bay, boot area and dash. Burnie has now taken the car to fit the running gear, once his done it will come back for us to finish off body and paint. Last but not least is the Pantera, it’s now rust free, it’s been a massive job, everywhere we looked there was more rust or very bad patch up jobs. Daniel’s done an amazing job replacing inner and outer sills, floor pans, lower quarter panels, door skins, inner and outer pillars, radiator/tie bar, scuttle, roof, even the headlight cover was rusty and many many more parts his made. We will start on the right hand drive conversion in the new year.

02.01.2022 Who else went for a cruz today?

02.01.2022 We finished up the body work on the little Torana this week, and now all sealed up in high fill primer. Also a couple of new projects arrived this week as well, Dave has finished up the rust repairs on the FC and is now back for us to finish off body work and paint. And a VW pickup also in for final body work and paint.
