15.01.2022 strawberry jam, my favourite! working in a fruit shop is handy for knowing whats good and whats cheap. there is a glut of beautiful fresh strawberries on the market at moment and i couldnt help myself, have ordered a heap of punnets and when they arrive tomorrow i will turn them into a lovely jam. cheers, 'the cook'

11.01.2022 well, the shelves are stocked with 5 different varieties of marmalade so far and the tangerines on my friend's tree are almost ready for the next one. have been harvesting/collecting fruits and processing them like mad lately, ready for the off-season. I am on the lookout for a local supply of nice blood- oranges too by the way, if anyone knows of one, of course will trade marmalade for them. cheers, 'the cook'
