22.01.2022 #UPDATE Changes coming for low density asbestos fibre board (LDB) classification. LDB is a lightly compressed board which looks like cement sheeting or plasterb...oard but it crumbles easily, which can release asbestos fibres into the air. From 1 May 2021, LDB will be classified as a friable (easily crumbled) asbestos containing material. This means you must engage a class A licensed asbestos removalist to remove LDB.
