18.01.2022 BUSINESS BIRTHDAY! One year ago today, I registered my business name and applied for an ABN. I took that first leap of faith in fulfilling a longheld desire to start my own photography business. It was nerve-racking, to say the least. I had no idea whether I’d be successful or if I could sustain my business for at least one year. ... Well, here we are! One year on and what an amazing year it has been! I’ve been so lucky to meet so many wonderful families and capture some sweet memories. I feel humbled and thankful with every new booking I receive. Thank you to everyone I’ve met over this past year, for supporting my small business and for trusting me with your special moment. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for your support!! To celebrate, I’m running a birthday special with some sweet extras if you book a photo session with me in May. I’m hoping time will slow down just a tad (where did this year go?) and feeling extra grateful today for our little family. 08.01.2022 Happy Mother’s Day! Feeling extra grateful for all the amazing mums & expecting mums I’ve met over this past year. You all radiate so much strength, resilience and love for the family you’ve created. Also feeling extra thankful on a day like today that two happy & healthy kids call me mum, that I have my own strong mum close and that I have a wonderful partner supporting me on this crazy ride called motherhood. ... Being a mum is so rewarding, but I know that it can also be tough. Those sleepless nights, dealing with little ones’ big emotions, feeling like there’s no privacy or time for you anymore, worrying about your babies (+ endless late night googling symptoms ), accepting your body again after a big transformation and feeling like you’re never doing enough. The list goes on. Please know though, beautiful, strong mumma, that you are enough. You are doing more than enough. And it’s ok to not always love this crazy ride or long for those calmer, pre-motherhood times. I just hope today was a wonderful day. And you felt extra appreciated by your loved ones. 06.01.2022 Let’s hope 2021 gives us more reasons to blow up some balloons and have a celebration! This past year has definitely been challenging, to say the least. There have luckily been a few highlights though, one of them being my love for photography. I’m grateful to look back on a successful year and I’m so grateful for all the people who I’ve met and had in front of my lens. From the bottom of my heart: thank you!
