20.01.2022 A few weeks ago the Loch was treated to a concert held by Minjar Gold at the Town Hall, with the main act Johnny Roks and local talent Steven Bult. It was a great night, good music, food and drinks! We can look forward to regular events held by both Minjar Gold and The Marvel Loch Progress Association at the Hall

From our delicious Burgers with the Lot that the miners have ceremoniously named the best Burger in Marvel Loch for many years to our yummy Pizzas and all types of Fried Foods. I like to add whole black pitted olives to my Magherita.

11.01.2022 We had another treat on the 18th of December with Minjar holding another event that doubled as Martin Haugg's going away party. Packed Hall with great music by the lovely and talanted Sophie Jane and some great food

10.01.2022 Updates A few months ago we had a big accident out on the Marvel Loch Road, unfortunately it was fatal. There is a cross in place now with his mining helmet stapled to it. Thats 6 deaths on that road in recent memory, 4 in my 23 years, for such a small stretch of road that is a huge amount! ... Sms are all here at the open pit across the road from cornishman, Hamptons have lost the contract for the Haulage so MLG have the Hampton’s contract now. Hampton’s stops work 31st July after Nightshift and MLG takes over for dayshift 1st August. Catercare renewed, much to many of the miners dismay. Rain!! Finally! First lot came in 2 weeks ago and we had 32ml! Then the next lot the following wednesday 11ml! Then last night we got 23ml! The crops are shooting out of the ground!

08.01.2022 Freshly relined one half of the Badminton Court today. The constant use means the tape starts to rip off very quickly! But i ran out of tape before i could start the other side, a job for another time.

03.01.2022 The Marvel Loch Progress Association and the Marvel Loch Community would like to thank Minjar / Barto Gold Mining for repairing our lights at our Vollyball Court and old Basketball Court. Theyre shining bright like new after being out for so long! We very much appreciate it, you went above and beyond to help. The new Vollyball Net will look good all lit up

03.01.2022 I have a request for everyone young and old! I am intending to put a collection of stories, from lots of different people, about Marvel Loch into a book. Good stories, Bad stories, funny, short, long, sad anything! Even if you think its a stupid story i want it! Whether you lived here, grew up here or just worked here. If you have a story or a bunch of stories you can tell me either typed up, messaged to the page, voice recorded or in written letter form then please do! Your... name, should you be okay with, will be included in the book with your stories. Dates or around about years of when the story took place would also be amazing. The aim of this is to make sure Marvel Loch and its stories arnt forgotten and future generations, whether in Marvel Loch or not, can read back on them.
