A ...large crowd attended the event along with Fr Marko, Fr Petar and the Consul General of Croatia. Cardinal Kuhari was often referred to as the "Rock of Croatia known for his defence of human rights, peace and forgiveness during the independence conflict and the Bosnian War. Kuhari was also a vocal supporter for the canonisation of Cardinal Stepinac. The lawn has proved to be extremely popular with the Croatian community.
