Apart from the formality of being signed off by the Governor General Sir Peter Cosgrove, all people in Australia will be able to marry very soon. The changes to the Marriage Act will take some time but the Attorney-General's Department will be sending out fact sheets to all marriage celebrants shortly. Book your celebrant very soon as we do expect to be busy. Congratulations to all Australians on making this possible.
