21.01.2022 I'm leaving my PA Peppermint in charge of the office this week while I'm on holidays. I dragged her in on the weekend for a run-through and already I'm concerned. First she pointedly reminded me the ANZAC weekend was a big one for diggers so she'd be in late on Tuesday. Then she was straight on Facebook. So if you try to contact me when I'm away and I don't get back to you, please try again because I've got a terrible feeling my dog may eat my messages.

But seems like it still only means what it always has. Thought wed also run triggering through our exhaustive testing while we were at it. NOT A WORD.

08.01.2022 COMMUNICATION TIP: Effective communication relies on clarity. For example, when Peppermint begged me to hire her as my PA, we agreed that shed work like a dog. Turns out, we have different interpretations of working like a dog. All I see is a lot of laying around on the job (below). But Peppermint believes thats what we shook on. Good communication would have seen us clarify our expectations from the beginning. Instead, its become a real bone of contention between us and Im pretty sure the three-month trial period we signed isnt in dog years.
