20.01.2022 Members! We would like to have the Canteen Open tonight (for basic food, drinks and of course lollies). However we need a little help!! We are looking for only 2 members to assist in there tonight. No helpers then unfortunately there's No Canteen! Who's available?? Please comment on this post by 10am Friday so we know. 17.01.2022 Members, With the new fb policy regarding news some of you may have noticed certain pages no longer are accessible, some fb news pages are no longer coming through or don't even work... like Qld Health, AusCycling, BOM even locally for us pages like Fraser Coast Chronicle. Soooo bmx related regarding BMX SOUTH QLD FB PAGE. They are aware that there is an issue with FB regarding their posts. Unfortunately they may have fallen under the banner of NEWS, and as of today fb and google are not allowing posts which are newsworthy. They have notified Facebook regarding all their posts and hopefully will have it sorted soon. The SQ team will try to communicate all posts as they can. Sorry for the inconvenience but they are working on it.

GATE PRACTICE CANNOT COMMENCE UNTIL WE FIND A FIRST AIDER. ... Special Event: Rocker Races! If you own a mini Rocker Bike bring it along as we'll be having Rocker Races in the break;) Please make sure LICENSES are UP TO DATE, and that transponders are active and attached to your bikes. Sign in using the QR Code upon arrival. We are still following Covid19 Guidelines here at Maryborough Bmx Club. 10.01.2022 Another Friday night of Racing done and dusted. Thank you to all our volunteers that helped out tonight to make racing possible. They were: First Aider Jodi, Stagers were Tash and Kelly. Gate Starter Kerry. Bermy Ken. Chief Commisaire Angela and our Registrar Leisha. Without Volunteers and Officials Friday night racing just couldn't happen. To our fabulous Canteen Crew- Thank you Aprel and Jarrah for making sure food was available for the hungry:)... Lastly our thoughts are with Jeremy and his family after Jeremy had a big crash in practice tonight. Rest up and recover soon Jeremy!! We're all thinking of you!!

What to Bring; Plate to share,Swimmer's and Towel. Beverages. Special treat we will have a wet jumping castle on site. Lunch provided: Chicken and ham with salad and bread roll and a soft drink. We're all still on holidays for abit longer. The Committee is starting to make some plans for the 2021 year ahead of us such as the Club calendar, Friday Race night schedule, Working Bees ect. 04.01.2022 Friday night Racing done and dusted. The last night of Racing done for the year. Hoping some fun was had. A few normal races, threw in some Rocker Races in the break and a Mountain Bike race and then the backwards race. Well done riders!! Thank you to all our volunteers that helped out tonight to make racing possible. They were: First Aider Jason R, Stagers were Jason W and Jodi. Gate Starter Kelly for gates and Kerry for racing. Bermy Troy. Chief Commisaire Angela and our Registration team of Leisha, Tash and Cass. Without Volunteers and Officials Friday night racing just couldn't happen. Next week is AGM NIGHT!! We would love to have as many members there as possible in attendance to help get vacant positions filled. We really need to fill all our Committee Positions in order for club activities to continue next year.
