22.01.2022 Congratulations to the choir for a fantastic presentation of 'No Greater Love' this Easter. Well done. May you have a safe and restful Easter break.
22.01.2022 Thanks to Bruce Saunders, MP, Member for Maryborough, who took part in opening the Big Sing 2018 Concert on Sunday afternoon, 30th September. Robyn Lowe, our very accomplished Compere, presided at the rostrum to introduce the Choirs in the first half of the programme. Patrons who arrived early were entertained by the Big Sing Orchestra in the pit, and Cherie Treloar and Tim Holstein providing vocals on stage. The last picture shows Caboolture Community Choir in action.
22.01.2022 Did you enjoy hearing Maryborough Choral Society perform "Circular Resonance" at the Brolga Theatre on Sunday 30th September in the Big Sing 2018 Concert? We were conducted by the Composer, Heather Jones. Heather has the music for this piece for sale, along with several other SATB arrangements of her original compositions. Interested in learning more? Leave a comment, and we will put you in touch with Heather.

20.01.2022 Finally got pics posted... big thank-you to Jeff who is unwell at present but downloaded the finished pics for us (and created the panorama) and also to Julie who was press ganged into taking the camera. Despite her worries Julie did a great job creating many great memories for us. Thanks both of you.

18.01.2022 Here is our vivacious Guest Conductor, Emma Dean, who worked with us on the songs for the Big Sing 2018 Massed Choir part of the Big Sing 2018 Concert. She is seen here at the Celebration Dinner at Susan River Homestead. Her brother, Tony Dean, seen with her in the second picture, was our Accompanist. They are both extremely talented, charming, and above all encouraging. We thank them for bringing all the voices together for Big Sing 2018

Anastasia has performed in a wide range of operas and oratorios both in Australia and overseas and we are looking forward very much to her performances at our concert.See you there.
12.01.2022 Does singing alto help ensure longevity? Well Lesley thinks so because she is now a nonagenarian. This is quite a painless condition... it simply means she is now in her 90s!! Congratulations Lesley and we are looking forward to your centenary!! Btw candid shot... we have plenty more singers in our choir...they just had designs on the teapot over the way!!
09.01.2022 Why there are no crocodiles in the orchestra

07.01.2022 Not long now to our Sunday June 30 Concert in the Federation Room at the Brolga Theatre. 2 pm start. Some of the men practising last night... well they practised after they got themselves sorted. Our conductor has the patience of a saint! And our accompanist who is amused by the shenanigans!
