25.01.2022 A massive thank you to all those members who supported the club fundraiser, over the weekend. Members worked tirelessly, some giving up two days of their life. Robin and Suzanne appreciate you supporting us, as we showcase our garden.

18.01.2022 A wonderful morning out at Bambooland nursery. And then to Howard pub for a fabulous lunch.

15.01.2022 Another great morning on Saturday. Everyone got into the spirit by participating in our 'double talking circle'. then working in teams to come up with the lyics of 'Gilligan's Island' (Karen's team was the winner - hence the pirate crown), enjoying a sticky beak at Sam's garden, winning raffle prizes, playing in the concrete and munching down on bacon sandwiches. I love our happy crew. They are so eager to have a bit of fun.

10.01.2022 Wow. What a day! A visit to Evon's garden and then Leslie's tropical patch. Then off to the beach for lunch and more chatting and eating. Thank you to everyone who shared the day with us Also, thanks to those who looked after me, with my old lady 'ailments' surgery from last Tuesday. I loved having people fusing over me for a change. Good to go for next time!

10.01.2022 Morning all, hope this finds you well and excited about this Saturday's sticky beak and garden art activity. We are going to see what is new (a lot) in Samantha's garden, 252 Woongool Rd, Tinana at 10am. The plan is to start our garden art activity immediately on arrival. This project is half featured on the images. I could find exactly what I wanted. We are working in rapid set concrete, making floral imprint garden wall plaques. You will need to pay $5 to participate. ... You will need to bring things you would like to imprint in your hanging. The plaque will be set aside to dry and it is hoped it will be dry enough after lunch to apply a little colour. Bring a chair. Lunch will be fresh cooked bbq bacon and salad sandwiches. RSVP coming or not coming, doing the activity or not, so we can have enough product. See more

10.01.2022 Well! Maryborough Garden Club girls had the best time over the past two days. A dozen women got together and had an absolute ball making soap, playing in the concrete mix making planters, dipping pots into spray paint buckets of water to marble and making macrema pot holders. We laughed, we ate, we drank, talked, learnt and thoroughly enjoyed each other's company. The projects all worked out, which was a bonus. A special thank you to Beverley Hoskins as our tutor and Gillian Mackay for our food. There are plans afoot for further workshops in the future.

07.01.2022 Hi everyone, we have just heard we are good to go for this weekend's Open Garden. We will be open on the Saturday unofficially and Sunday officially. Reminder: pink or purple are the colours of the day, so we can look a little like a team. 8.30 for briefing to start at 9 on Sunday. There is a debrief with drinks and food if people want to stay and kick back. It will be a great day.

04.01.2022 President talking to members, Sam's place.

01.01.2022 Christmas, here we come!!!! Well almost. We are on the count down and this years theme is 'Hippy'. Saturday's workshop saw half a dozen of us tie dying our clothes, ready for the party in December. We had a ball, with heaps of laugher and the blind leading the blind on the whole project. Experimentation is the word! A special thanks to Sharon Easton for the donation of the paint! We are really happy with the results too. Me thinks we have found a winner winner chicken dinner. What are your thoughts?
