24.01.2022 Week 4 is here! Have a look at our Active 3 swimmers in Mr Jackson’s lesson from last week and yes they were in the 25m pool. Also we want to just thank all you parents for following the restrictions set in place the last few months.... Please note we do still need you to sign in when entering for the lesson. 23.01.2022 Have you got plans for the weekend? Why not bring the children to the pool. We have two new Inflatables, that's right we have 2!!... One is in the 25m pool right now 10am until 11:30am. (please note this one is for children from 3 to 8 years of age and under 1.2m tall. The 2nd one is in the 50m pool will start at 12pm until 2pm for 6 years and up. Conditions do apply! See you down at the pool!!

21.01.2022 You can catch this guy in our Waste to Art Exhibition later this year! The emu is made from used cutlery by Craignish artist, Lily Podger. The larger than lif...e sculpture is a tribute to the Australian wildlife caught in the bushfires. If you're working on a quirky work of art like this one for our Waste to Art Competition, HURRY and get your entries in before this coming Sunday 18 October. 20.01.2022 STREET ART: Expressions of Interest for the Fraser Coast Mural Project have been extended. The aim of this project is to use contemporary street art to deter g...raffiti being tagged on buildings and pathways across the region. Similar works installed in Kings Lane, Maryborough, as part of the Maryborough CBD Revitalisation have been very successful in deterring graffiti and brightening the laneway. The works will feature on a 40-metre pathway at Lupton Park in Maryborough; the wall of the Signature Building facing the skate park on Torquay Road and the wall of the Repco building facing the Link Mobility Corridor in Hervey Bay. Expression of Interest forms can be downloaded at https://bit.ly/31xhpXz and returned to Council by 5pm, Friday 13 November.

20.01.2022 We like to congratulate Ella Buckland! Doing Maryborough proud yesterday at a Swimming Carnival. We are so proud of the awesome work you have been putting in with our great Coach Ray.... 18.01.2022 GREAT NEWS: Work has started on the new water play area and all abilities playground in Maryborough’s Anzac Park today! Fencing has gone up and site establishme...nt is now underway with the project expected to be completed by about June next year. The new facility will include a range of features such as a sensory wall, inclusive orbit element, a spoon full of sugar bucket, a trampoline, waterfall, crystal fountains and a hammock. Other features include stream jets, a roller slide, cosmic cannons, spray jets, sugar cane spray poles, a new shelter with a barbecue, and improved amenities. Maryborough is famous for our links to Mary Poppins author P.L. Travers and the playground will incorporate elements of the story with the spoon full of sugar bucket and rainbow pathways. We can’t wait to see the smiles on the faces of families enjoying what will be a fabulous facility for generations to come. The Queensland Government’s recent commitment of $3 million through the COVID Works for Queensland program means the water playground can be done all at once, rather than in stages, and we thank them for their support.

Don’t miss out on your spot and avoid being turned away. Please note the Female & Male back change rooms will be closed from 9am until 3pm Monday through to Friday for the school to use. The front change rooms are still available.

17.01.2022 Well that is a wrap for Term 4! We all here at Maryborough Aquatic, would like to thank all students, parents & guardians for helping make this term the most successful term of all time. Without your support, we would not have smashed it this term.... We hope everyone has a safe and happy Christmas/New Year. We hope to see you all back here for term 1 2021. 16.01.2022 There are a lot of families here at the Hervey Bay Aquatic Centre today having a great time. Inflatable Fun Days are back here and at the Maryborough Aquatic Centre every Saturday until Christmas and also during the school holidays on tuesdays at Hervey Bay and Thursdays at Maryborough.

13.01.2022 Week 2 is here, and we hope all students and parents are enjoying being back! Just a few things to remember. There is no food or drink in the indoor area.... There is no swimming before the lesson unless paid for. Once the students have finished their lessons you can swim for free ( if you decide to have a swim after please inform the Kiosk staff so they can allocate you a place in one of the pools). Please note if you have not paid fees yet, can we please have them paid by the end week 3 (unless previously arranged with Joel).
