15.01.2022 Meet BJ and Keith.. Together with other residents at Dunolly they have created a garden which is enjoyed by all. It is full of colour, vegetables and fruit that encourages residents to be engaged with planting, picking and eating the fruits of the labour. This has been a wonderful initiative of the lifestyle team to support residents in being involved in activities that give them joy and fulfilment.

06.01.2022 MDHS would like to congratulate the graduating 2020 Diploma of Nursing class, the students have completed 2 years of study in partnership with Bendigo Kangan Institute and MDHS with the Bendigo Bank providing funding for classroom facilities. The course was facilitated by 3 teachers Maree, Diana and Kerry and supported by the organisational learning and development team in COIL at MDHS Throughout the course we have seen the Diploma of Nursing students integrate enthusiastical...ly with MDHS in a range of roles including leisure and lifestyle PCA and hospitality services whilst striving to complete their studies. We have 10 of the Diploma of Nursing students coming back next year to complete a graduate EEN year and the remaining students are going on to complete further studies which is a terrific outcome not only for MDHS but the whole community. This program is a wonderful example of how small ideas can make dreams be realised and in our small community and from our great organisation. We are looking forward to seeing all of these wonderful students back in 2021. Bendigo TAFE - RTO no. 3077 Avoca Community Bank & Maryborough Branches & St Arnaud Agency
