23.01.2022 A great resource!

18.01.2022 Tuesday morning rows

15.01.2022 WBRC and MSHS rowers enjoyed competing in the Head of the Brisbane hosted by Toowong Rowing Club. Thanks TRC for an enjoyable COVID safe event and we look forward to next years

13.01.2022 I put this video up on the Masters International site, some interesting comments.

10.01.2022 Our other quad who chased the older crew all the way. Stroked by Beestie, with Chantel, Cam & Dani.

10.01.2022 Pics from the very successful visit by Gary & Mike from RQ, much appreciated by both young & old.

09.01.2022 Day 2 of racing at the QLD Masters Championships at Lake Whyaralong. Another bronze to add to the haul and some very close racing. Thanks to our fill in rowers and coxes from other teams, Mackay Rowing Club for trailering our boats and Rowing Queensland and their volunteers for holding such a great event. Congratulations to all competitors. As Arnie would say, "We'll be back!"

09.01.2022 What a way to start your day A sunrise over misty water whilst skimming up the mighty Mary River. 8 boats made up of Master and Junior rowers enjoyed competing against each other whilst preparing for up coming regattas.

07.01.2022 A few snippets of our Queens Park and Mary River. Wide Bay Rowing Club makes good use of the river all through the week, and they invite new rowers to come along to experience this graceful discipline. Check their Facebook page for details. Music: http://www.purple-planet.com

06.01.2022 WBRC is enjoying some great racing at the QLD Rowing Championships on the beautiful Lake Wyaralong near Beaudesert. A busy first day of racing has seen a lovely haul of medals with 2 silvers and 3 bronze. A first time experience for some of ours rowers. Looking forward to another day of racing on Sunday.

05.01.2022 Young sculler after 13 k and an hour and 20 minutes of tough conditions

03.01.2022 The winners, named as Cairns -Wide Bay composite but with an entire WBRC crew. Great stroking from Kate with help from Arto, Lee, Jim and good steering from Ash.

02.01.2022 A row, coaching by 2 Brisbane coaches, cooked breakfast and a chat with friends A magic morning spent on the water with our young and old oarsmen and women being coached by Gary Merrit and John Bliss from Toowong Rowing Club. A big thanks to these gentlemen for imparting their knowledge and enthusiasm. A big thanks too for the lovely breakfast cooked by students and parents of MSHS. DELICIOUS! Look forward to the next time

02.01.2022 WBRC participated with another 41 Eights in the Convict Chase last weekend on the Brown Snake. Of course it is no where near as brown as the Mighty Mary and we don't have ferries to contend with. We could not have taken part without the assistance of Grammarian Rowing Club who loaned us a nice boat and oars. It was the first step in our clubs move into sweep rowing and was quite a challenge for our many novice sweep rowers.
