Current Update for Wednesday 5th of May 2021,Valid until midnight tonight 5th of May 2021 So We know it’s a lot to take in, but preparation is always KEY, So Here’s how to get ready: Clear your backyard and gutters. Trim the larger trees around your property. Create an Emergency Plan. Stock your Emergency Kit. Move your car undercover. Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people should: Never Drive. Walk or Ride through flood waters. If its flooded, forget it Seek shelter, Preferably indoors and never under trees. Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm. Beware of fallen trees and Powerlines. And most important thing of all Never Drive though flood water! IF ITS FLOODED FORGET IT Remember if you need assistance from the SES contact the SES on 132 500 or simply go to the QSES Assistance app to lodge a job! 09.01.2022 WOW we had a nice visit from our friend Paddy the Platypus today at Maryborough show grounds! Maryborough SES Team was out at the show witour awesome display with the Rural Fire Service, To help promote our services and give everyone educational information about,... Storms, floods, & any emergency situations, Our team is also doing recruitment for the Maryborough SES Group! Do you see yourself in orange? Well there is many jobs within the SES, Like flood boat operations, Strom operations, chainsaw operations, community opinions, and more!
