25.01.2022 One of the modifications suggested by Tennis Australia is to shake racquets at the beginning and end of the match. We will ensure extra hand washing facilities are available and kids are encouraged to maintain good hygiene practices. Fixtures will run from 3-5pm on Saturday and we hope to see you there.

22.01.2022 In keeping with the Tennis Queensland guidelines, the courts are now open for individual coaching sessions and social singles play. The committee has worked through the comprehensive guidelines provided and made a few changes to ensure we can maintain social distancing. These changes include access to the courts being through the side gate, where a hand-washing station is provided for use on entry and exit from the centre. Bruce will begin contacting families to recommence coaching sessions over the coming weeks, and we are hopeful that fixtures will be able to start again soon.

19.01.2022 Come along to our open court session on Thursday night 6:00 - 7:30 at the Alice Street tennis courts. Cost is $12 which includes the session and nibbles at the end. Would love to see you there.

14.01.2022 We have just received notification from Tennis Qld strongly recommending that all tennis activities cease from midnight Saturday 28 March 2020 across the state of Queensland. This includes: - All tennis clubs, venues, academies and centres cease operations until further notice - All tennis programmes and coaching be cancelled, including one-on-one coaching, until further notice ... - All club, association and social play be cancelled until further notice - All public court hire bookings cease until further notice We encourage you to keep moving and look forward to seeing you back on court soon. In all seriousness, the guidelines from Tennis Australia suggest that local fixtures should continue, with some modifications. 03.01.2022 Wow! What a great weekend of tennis in Maryborough! A huge thank you to all of our volunteers who helped with working bees leading up to the event, the facilities looked great! And over the past couple days, your efforts are so appreciated. A huge shout out to one special volunteer who works tirelessly for our club and enjoyed a game of chess with the boys whilst we waited for the courts to dry! Thank you!
