23.01.2022 Hi everyone - we have had a few people asking about our Saturday morning junior programs. At the moment we are still under certain restrictions which mean we are unable to have our clubhouse open, and also unable to have parents/spectators around while the children are on court. They would have to wait outside in their cars, or leave and return later. So we decided to wait for more optimal conditions before commencing. Hopefully if restrictions lighten further in the next couple of weeks, we may get the kids on court before Christmas. Thank you for your understanding. :)

21.01.2022 We are aiming to start our new Wednesday night tennis season on October 28, to run for six or seven weeks prior to Christmas. It will be a little different with the Covid regulations in place, but we will work hard to offer safe and secure play for everyone, with all guidelines adhered to. If you are interested in joining in - either as a team or as an individual - please let us know by Friday, October 23.

21.01.2022 To all Hot Shots and Junior Sectional players and families, thank you for your attendance and support in 2019. Both programs are now finished for the year. ANZ Hot Shots and Junior Sectional will both recommence on Saturday, February 1st. They will also run on Feb 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th and March 14th. We wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a safe and happy New Year. We look forward to seeing all of you in 2020.

20.01.2022 Sending a great big thank you to everyone who helped out the Maryborough Tennis Club during the Energy Breakthrough event. We had past members, Red Cross ladies, friends, family, both young and older helpers and we value each and every one of you! To all those who donated food, time or money, we thank you for your contribution and could not do this without you! The slices and home baked goodies are an annual hit. Thank you again

19.01.2022 It was a beautiful morning for our Hot Shots participants. Thanks for coming along! A reminder that there will be no junior tennis next Saturday due to the long weekend. We will be back on March 14th for our final day of the season.

18.01.2022 Further details on our Cabaret fundraising night, to be held on Saturday, February 22 at the Maryborough Town Hall. Doors will open at 7pm. The band will play from 8pm through to midnight, with doors closing at 1am. Tickets can be purchased at the doors on the night.

18.01.2022 It's our Community Support Night at the Maryborough Highland Society this Friday, March 6! Raffle tickets are sold from 5.30 pm and the bistro is open for meals, with free entertainment provided. Consider bringing along your friends and family to support the club. ... 12.01.2022 A great Hot Shots session yesterday morning. Here Brian demonstrates his new serving aid. A reminder that Hot Shots and junior tennis will not be running next Saturday due to the Energy Breakthrough, but will be back on November 30.

10.01.2022 Our junior tennis season wrapped up yesterday. Thanks to all who have participated and supported us for season 2019-20! Hope to see you back in October.

09.01.2022 From 11.59pm Sunday 2nd August, face coverings will be mandatory for all of Victoria (for ages 12 and over), and this includes those who are making use of our courts. As per the guidelines, if you are doing strenuous physical exercise you do not need to wear a face covering, but you must still carry one with you. "Strenuous exercise" includes playing tennis, so it is not necessary to wear a mask when on the court. However it is necessary to wear one when going to and from the... courts, or if simply spectating. Please continue to do the right thing and maintain COVID safety. If you make use of our courts, please make sure you have a face mask handy for when you've finished your hit. Anyone under 12 does not need to wear a mask, but are still able to do so. 09.01.2022 Our new season of Wednesday twilight tennis will commence on October 16. Wednesday night tennis is a fun social competition featuring a round robin team-based format. Teams are of four players each, and each player gets to play three sets for the evening. We welcome players of all ability and experience levels. 07.01.2022 We will be commencing our junior programs this Saturday! ANZ Tennis Hot Shots from 9.30 to 10.30 am. Junior Sectional Competition from 9.30 am. Participants are welcome to register on the morning. Due to Covid regulations, our clubhouse is to remain closed to all visitors, except for direct use of the toilets. Also, each family is only permitted to have one parent/guardian present for supervision purposes... and please be aware of social distancing.... 07.01.2022 We are now allowed to open our clubhouse! Subject to 4 square metres per patron, which will allow for about 20 people at a time. We look forward to seeing everyone for junior tennis tomorrow morning. Please make sure to sign the register at the door as you arrive. :)

07.01.2022 Now that the holidays are almost done, our Hot Shots and junior sectional tennis is due to resume this coming Saturday at 9.30 am (weather permitting). Hoping to see everyone back on the courts.

06.01.2022 We are keen to start our junior's season next Saturday, October 12 with a Family Fun Day, starting at 9.30 am! We will be accepting registrations for the Hot Shots program and the junior sectional competition. Looking forward to seeing everyone there - come and give it a try!

03.01.2022 We are excited to be holding our next fundraising night at the Town Hall on Saturday, February 22. Suit up as either the 1920s or 2020s inspired and come along for a fun evening. We hope to see you there.

03.01.2022 It's been a tough couple of months, but with the relaxation of social isolation rules, social tennis is once again an option for people looking for some exercise - with certain limitations ie. gatherings of no more than 10 people. If anyone is considering making use of our courts, please take the time to read over and adhere to these guidelines provided by Tennis Victoria. Thank you for your understanding.

01.01.2022 It's movie night! We will be holding a fundraiser at Paramount Theatre on Thursday, September 26, featuring the opening local screening of Ride Like A Girl. Movie at 6.30pm, with food and drinks to follow at our clubhouse. Come along and help support the Maryborough Tennis Centre. :)

01.01.2022 We have five used tennis nets for sale at $20 each. They have some wear and tear, some of them have holes in the netting, but would still be good for backyard tennis with the kids Anyone interested, just let us know.
