12.01.2022 The hall will be closed for the next couple of Thursday nights, Severs, Nick and Mick, Have been running the hall for over 10 years with no breaks in fact we have run extra nights over the years. So Mick is having a little holiday.PS In this time we will hopefully devise a way of funding air conditioning. Keep an eye on the page for updates and turn on page notifications. ~Severs William

23.11.2021 Attention Everyone. ( Please Read All Information ) If any of the following applies to you within the last 14 days. 1. If you are currently sick ( Cold or Flu symptoms ) or feeling unwell in that sense. ... 2. If any of your family members who you live with or are in regular physical contact with are currently sick ( Cold or Flu symptoms ) or unwell in that sense. 3. If you have travelled to the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, China or any other outbreak countries airport, or a friend or relative that you have been in physical contact with has. Please DO NOT attend the Thursday Night Gaming Club at the hall. Information points ( 1. & 2. ) are also good practices in general for the yearly Cold & Flu season which is beginning soon ( however 7-14 day window instead ). We believe in airing on the side of caution as we need to consider the health of all hall attendees and users. For those that are not aware, the new Coronavirus has a 14 day incubation period and you are contagious before you show symptoms ( within the 14 day incubation period ) and while symptoms are prevalent. The only reason we as the Committee are making this statement is because health officials are still trying to locate other travellers who were on a contaminated flight that landed on the Gold Coast a few days ago. Given how far these people could have traveled and who they could have come into contact with in a few days. Even though there is no cases in this area we believe in airing on the side of caution as we need to consider the health of all hall attendees and users. This is only a temporary situation and will hopefully not last 2 long.
