25.01.2022 This weeks Newsletter

13.01.2022 The Maryborough West State School annual Inter-House Cross-Country event was successfully run and won on the last day of Term One. Special thanks to Mr Barsby for his preparation of the course, Ms Brand and Mrs Boulton for their work behind the scenes and to Mrs Mathiesen for her co-ordination of this event. Thanks is also due to family and friend supporters who complied so readily with COVID-19 restrictions imposed across the state at that time that impacted on our event. At this morning's assembly Mrs Mathiesen was able to present the perpetual trophy to the combined House Captains of Gordon/Paterson as the 2021 winners. Congratulations to all athletes for your participation.

13.01.2022 The Maryborough District School Sport Association holds its annual Cross Country selection Trial at the Maryborough Showgrounds Tuesday 4 May. Best wishes to the nine athletes, presented to the school at this morning's assembly, who have been nominated to represent the school in various age group events. Many thanks to Ms Wendy Mathiesen. our HPE teacher, for her selection and training of these students.

01.01.2022 Don't forget to buy a P&C Mother's Day Raffle Ticket. Tickets are $1 each and will be sold by our parents before school at Prep, North Street gate and on the Quad before school every day and after school at North Street gate until Thursday 6 May. Limited change will be available, so we ask that you bring correct money please.
