18.01.2022 Thank you Glam Adelaide for the write up of my new appointment as Deputy Lord Mayor as from the 1st December 2020. I would like to thank our current Deputy Lord Mayor Councillor Hyde for all his hard work and dedication to the role over the past 12 months. It hasnt been an easy task with COVID causing some hectic changes. However as the youngest ever Deputy Lord Mayor he worked through all the challenges with great leadership. I look forward supporting Sandy Verschoor - Lor...d Mayor of Adelaide through the crisis so we can build a foundation for a bigger and better growth for our capital city. It is also very inspiring to be have two women leading the chamber for the first time since 1999. As a child of immigrants that grew up in the city supporting my parents business this sends a clear message to everyone out there that no matter of your gender, age or your upbringing if you have a passion and are prepared to work hard anything is possible.

17.01.2022 We are so excited to lauch a new program to help small businesses to reduce energy costs. 50 small businesses can register on the Adelaide City website to get a free energy assessment, then $5000 in rebate for making recommended changes. 13.01.2022 Normally I would ignore other elected members comments because it’s just not worth giving direct attacks any attention but this letter to the editor by Anne Moran needs some attention. Whilst our city has been affected by a pandemic and the community is uncertain about the future, business confidence is low a person in leadership role chooses to agree with an opinion piece from a journalist. On top that most of projects mentioned in this journalist opinion piece were comple...ted during a time whilst Anne Moran was in council and a different executive team were working in the department. I congratulate the current executive team, Lord Mayor and the councillors who have worked hard during these unprecedented times and continue to ignore the antics of the councillors who are obsessed on causing chaos rather than focusing on real issues. We need to come together to build our city up.
