11.01.2022 NNA Umpire’s Corner While we may not be currently partaking in our favourite sport, there are still many ways in which you can get your weekly (or daily!) d...ose of netball. Did you know that the International Netball Federation (INF) has released an updated edition of the rulebook? You can download the PDF version of the Rules of Netball 2020 Edition by following this link https://netball.com.au/rules-netball, or if you prefer a hardcopy you can buy one by getting in touch with our Umpire’s Convenor. This is a great way to refresh your knowledge of the rules (and also have a good read!) a very handy tool for umpires, players, coaches, and supporters alike! Are you interest in progressing your umpiring accreditation? Do you feel like putting your knowledge to the test? Available online are the Rules of Netball Theory Exam, and the Foundation Umpire Course (which is a prerequisite for your C Badge). You are able to complete both by visiting http://my.netball.com.au/ and logging into your MyNetball account. Stay tuned for next Saturday where we will be posting our first NNA Rule of the Week! Each Saturday we will be taking an informative look at a particular rule whether it be referring to its correct wording and terminology, correct application, or an in-depth example of the rule.

07.01.2022 With the release by Netball Australia and Netball NSW of return to training and competition guidelines, we advise that NNA are currently putting policies and pr...ocedures together in line with the guidelines issued today, so that we can protect all NNA members and their families. Again, this is great news however there is still some work to do to ensure everyone involved stays safe. Until this is completed there is to be no return to netball activities - we hope to have NNA guidelines released within the week. In the mean time, please consider downloading the COVID Safe App to assist with tracing any outbreaks, as this assists with Association and Club risk management. https://www.health.gov.au/res/apps-and-tools/covidsafe-app There is light at then end of the tunnel, so thank you all again for your patience and support.
