17.01.2022 Kensington’s newest café, High Street Café had a fantastic opening weekend - food and coffee flying out the doors! The cold did not stop patrons from coming for breakfast, morning tea and lunch! It is certainly worth a trip to Kensington and experiencing a great café: during your visit to Mary MacKillop Museum, or on your way through from the city, or for the morning/afternoon school drop off/pickup! Located at 4 High Street, and part of Mary MacKillop Precinct, it’s open weekdays from 07:30am-03:30pm and weekends from 08:30am-2pm!

11.01.2022 Launching on April 18 and bringing together a rich history and sense of place of Mary’s legacy is a dedicated, signposted walking trail located in the historic streets of Norwood and Kensington. This walk hosts 14 unique Saint Mary MacKillop stops each with their own significant story. The walk will take a leisurely 60-90 minutes and is accessible for all. A detailed guided booklet is available from our Mary MacKillop Museum, or online at www.marymackillopadelaide.org.au with thanks to the History Trust of South Australia Check back here for details on our guided walks commencing on the 1st Sunday and 1st Wednesday of each month - meeting at 10.30am at Mary MacKillop Precinct
