20.01.2022 Today's article from our Mary's News Today Spring newsletter is: Helping women affected by family violence in Peru. In Peru, the number of COVID-19 cases has skyrocketed, forcing communities into harsh lockdowns. Houses are crowded, so staying at home all the time is not an easy situation. Each day, stress levels rise for families in Peru. These are the factors that can often lead to an increase in family violence.... Our Enhancing Womens Civil Participation Project, a joint initiative with our local partner CCAIJO, is working hard to address this problem. The generosity of people like you has allowed us to support CCAIJOs special radio program called Kuska Llankaspa which means working together. The radio program offers content to meet some of the greatest areas of need for families in Peru.
