23.01.2022 Positive Coping is the focus of Respectful Relationships in the Primary School as we commence Term Two. Positive Coping strategies will come in handy when our students are participating in NAPLAN this week. The Preps have a chant that will keep them going when facing a challenge. The Year 2s have identified strategies to help them when they are feeling angry. Our Year 5 & 6 students have been learning about positive self-talk and identifying their own positive coping profile. Challenges are guaranteed in life and our Marymede students are adding to their resilience toolbox with these Positive Coping experiences!

23.01.2022 Some beautiful photos of Marymede taken by maintenance staff at sunrise this morning. Our Maintenance Team arrive early and finish late every day to take exceptional care of our school grounds. We thank them for all their hard work.

23.01.2022 This week CatholicCare Victoria - Melbourne, Geelong & Gippsland regions celebrates Family Week. Each day on SIMON, students can find an activity to share with their family. For example: Nature has a soothing effect on our minds and bodies and gives us the opportunity to take in the awe of God's creation. Your whole family can go for a walk together. Be mindful of the beauty that awaits you in every tree, flower or butterfly that you see. Remember to give thanks as a family f...or the gift of nature. Sometimes we are so busy, we forget how wonderful and healing Mother nature can be. 'Our families are our stories that shape our future'

21.01.2022 On Friday, our Student Leaders organised a lovely breakfast to show gratitude for the time and dedication our female teachers and staff put towards supporting all students throughout their time at Marymede. We hope that all mothers, grandmothers and other female role models in the Marymede community have a wonderful day today and thank them for their special role in their loved ones' lives.
