25.01.2022 A few pics from the day. Dog walking dogs,puppy socialisation lessons and a few dog training sessions not in the pics. Noodle and I stalked some gardening council workers in their high vis and hats working with rakes and I asked if they wouldn’t mind interacting with him for his socialisation. They happily obliged. Thank you so much! Chloe and Nala have been doing socialisation together even though Chloe is now 11 months old. She’s going through a bit of a fear period so it’s just as important for her as it is for baby Nala. Both are quiet boys who are very gentle and prefer other gentle quiet doggies to play with. The boisterous ones are a little overwhelming. 22.01.2022 So happy to welcome Gilbert the Spoodle back to daycare after having to endure multiple tail amputations caused by happy tail. The other doggies were very happy to see him and Gilbert is playing up a storm with Candi the Sausage. He’s having a ball. It’s also FINLEY’s first day. He’s the tiny white fluffy puppy. Still has all his puppy teeth! He’s a real cutie and doing very well. He’s 16/17 weeks old. 22.01.2022 Crazy day at Daycare today. Lots of dogs staying with me PLUS the daycare dogs. Little 16 week old Golden Reteiever puppy Noodle is coming to daycare for the next few weeks and he is having the time of his life with the other dogs and the pool. The dogs arrived at 7 and by 9.30 were exhausted and had to have a quick nap. They are all up and running around like nutters again now. The clam pool is very popular today. . 21.01.2022 So thrilled for Morgan today. We have been working on Morgan the Whippets fear reactivity around dogs and today upped the anti. After 30mins of working hard around Chloe the Bull Mastiff, Morgan casually lay down 5m from Chloe and happily received lots of rewards. Such a huge progression in his training today. Morgan and his Mum have been working very hard over the last 3 weeks every day and today we saw a massive improvement. 03.01.2022 Puppy Socialisation today with Noodle and Nala. Different types of people wearing different things, workman, birds, wallabies, fire trucks, buses, trolleys. The puppies are being exposed to all sorts of things from the safety of the pram so they stay safe from disease. So important to expose them to everything before they reach 16 weeks to avoid them being scared of everything they weren’t exposed to during this time. These puppies have also been lucky enough to be exposed to storms and rain.
