25.01.2022 Mary River Month To celebrate NATIONAL FROG WEEK- 4-10 November, MRCCC’s Eva Ford will be giving a talk about the amazing array of frogs in the Mary River catch...ment and then running a Frog Survey for 1 hour after the Lantern Parade on Saturday 10 November at the Kandanga Community Reserve following the Mary River Festival. Gather at the main stage to embark on a night adventure along Kandanga Creek. Bring torch or headlamp, closed shoes and your frog-spotting eyes! See more

GREEN-THIGHED FROG (Rare) after heavy rain anywhere from upper catchment, the west of the Mary from Gympie north, any coastal areas, Tinana catchment, Kin Kin Creek. Rene is a master artist when it comes to weaving with a range of mater...ials, included the dreaded Cat's Claw Creeper Vine, a highly destructive introduced species which is causing major damage to vegetation throughout sub-tropical regions in Australia. Rene will be teaching the art of weaving at this year's Festival. Feel free to bring your own Cat's Claw vine! or any other materials you would like to weave with! See more
