24.01.2022 I really hate sharing terrible things, but I just saw this on the net. I get asked a lot why I don't use toughened glass to build aquariums. The glass in aquariums needs a certain amount of flexibility to cope with water pressure (which we always calculate in our builds). Toughened glass does not flex as easily as annealed or float glass does after the heat treating process it goes through (which pre-tensions the glass to give it's strength) and can catastrophically fail wit...h out warning when there is additional pressure and tension on the panels. I feel so sorry this poor owner and the beautiful animals.

23.01.2022 Continuing the run of Monster Tanks This beauty was sent to it's forever home Friday, where a very excited Birthday Boy was eagerly awaiting it's arrival. Arrin has spent so many hours planning each part to ensure everything runs 100% and is as efficient as it can be. We took part in making the stand and tank... Tank measures 12ft L x 4.5ft W x 2.5ft H with Internal Corner Weir, paired with an 1100mm High stand, perfect height to run his filtration setup underneath. Arrin has had a lot of support bringing this creation to life, but is takes a great mind to come up with all these ideas. Great job Arrin, can't wait to see your tank fully complete. 22.01.2022 Here is a beautiful little tank we built for Peter. He is running his own custom version of the Ghost Overflow. The coolest part about this tank, is the comb of black vinyl and the black overflow makes it almost invisible. Love it!

21.01.2022 When a problem comes along... you must print it! Ha ha ha I needed some tools to help with measurements when building tanks. I'm so glad I can draw them up and use our 3D printer to make the tools we need. :-D

17.01.2022 Here is a tank we built for our good customer Jason. It's a 6ft (l) x 800mm (w) x 800mm (h) tank on a metal stand. It features all polished edges and locking sliding lids, perfect for Arowana and Saratoga. :-D

17.01.2022 This is the awesome blue'd out tank we built for Jake. The tank measures out at 3000mm (l) x 900mm (w) x 750mm (h) and features a vinyl wrapped base and vinyled back. The blue really highlights the fish and keeps the tank looking bright especially with the lighting. :-D

16.01.2022 Here is a an amazing system we helped build for Jake to house his beautiful Dog..... Well Discus later on. The display tank measures 6ft (l) x 2ft (w) x 800mm (h), and is supported by a custom sump. The two small tanks are for an automated water change system which will pump out dirty water in to one and replenish it with fresh RO water from the other. This shows an amazing level of ingenuity! Love it!

13.01.2022 Here is an awesome tank we built for all round good guy Patrick and his family. The tank measures 3000mm (l) x 700mm (w) x 700mm (h), it has a genuine PPG Starphire front panel. The amazing part of this installation is Patrick cut the wall out to push the tank through to the lounge room. The difficult part was the wall was load bearing so he has to do massive amount of renovations and put in a new beam to achieve this fit out!... My hats off to him. When you have a vision, never let anything stop you!

12.01.2022 Here is a job we recently completed for Good Guy Caleb. It's a beautiful little system for Caleb's apartment. Nice and compact. It can house a variety of beautiful and rare shrimp. The tanks protrude from the cabinet in a cantilever fashion, to give the sense they are floating (pretty much like a groups of Fluval Edge aquariums)... The cabinetry was done by our good friend Greg, and the completion of the plumbing was done by our other good friend Nick (Fur n Fins). Very happy with the amazing results. 12.01.2022 Here is one our most hairiest, but satisfying jobs we have been involved with. We had to build a pair of 3500mm (l) x 900mm (w) x 900mm (h) tanks for an aged care facility. The tanks weighed in at 483kg each which is quite hefty, but they had to be blind hoisted (the crane operator could not see the pick site and landing site) by the site crane to the fourth and fifth floors. I was extremely glad the crane operators were very experienced, and also I had my dad (The Internatio...nal Tank Model) to help with is experience of rigging to secure the tanks for the lift. 12.01.2022 Here is a tank we built for good guy Scott, It measures out at 6ft (l) x 4ft (w) x 2.5ft (h), it has an external weir, and the end has been covered in blue to cover up all the plumbing. This will look amazing when it houses his Giant Gourami and Saratoga.

11.01.2022 Visited MAD Aquarium today, checking on a tank we built recently, Such a great Display as soon as you walk in and the welcoming you get from a beautiful fish. Great example of an Adjustable weir in action too, having the ability to skim from the bottom and the top is great and comes in handy with these type of fish. Like, Comment and share!!... 09.01.2022 A much anticipated load completed in time on Good Friday. Mary and Paul have planned for this beauty since 2019 and finally placed their order early 2020 and started paying it off, they have quietly watched as each tank is posted hoping their tank was next. We were so excited to give her the good news l last year that her time had come and we were prepping for her build. With some Removalist set backs, her delivery was pushed back several times, then cancelled, with the Co...vid lock down recently and lets not forget the bad weather we have been having, we thought we would never get this to her. A good Friday surprise and a mammoth drive by Paul, driving from Melbourne with a car trailer attached, we loaded the Tank, Stand and Sump and he was off back to Melbourne. Tank 3650mm L x 800mm W x 650mm H Stand 4000mm L x 800mm W x 1000mm H We are so happy to see this tank arrive safely, Thank you again Mary & Paul for choosing to work with us, your patience is very much appreciated and it was a pleasure working with you. 09.01.2022 Here is our soon to be member to our arsenal.... Our full size CNC machine. We are lucky enough to be able to build this machine in house. With Damien doing all the welding and fabricating and I (Dennison) will be able to do all the wiring, programming and calibration. :-) Once completed this will allow us to do a host of different products.

09.01.2022 Happy Monday Though I would share a recent tank that was completed. Dennison created this awesome tank as a sneaky surprise, as it overhangs the wall. As you approach the small overhanging side, your welcomed with a much larger tank in the other room. 08.01.2022 Here is a tank we built for good guy Martinus. The tank measures out at 6ft (l) x 3ft (w) x 2ft (h) and is completely eurobraced to allow him to aquascape out of the aquarium. We built the stand with adjustable feet to suit his flooring. Very cool.

Thank you Michael for your patience as we worked together to get every detail just right. 7ft L x 3ft W x 2ft H complete with a Water jet cut Euro brace, such a smooth finish don't you think. Paired with a 1m High stand and Cabinetry in Matte white, this tank finished off amazingly. ... Customized Sump, External Weir, Plumbing and Light frame (Not pictured) are just some of the extras available with our tank orders. They have been built for a Retirement Resort Facility and one is visible from the the dining hall and one backs into a lounge area. I can't wait to see these guys up an running! :-D

02.01.2022 Hey Guy's, Time for some updates! :-D Kicking off 2019, here is a tank we built for my very good friends Natasha and Sherie! They opened up their amazing salon Prestige Studio at Camp Hill, and they included this tank measures in at 2440mm (l) x 610mm (w) x 610mm (h), and is inset into the main feature wall in their studio, with the life support system hidden in the back store room.... 01.01.2022 Concealed Wall Fish tank Examples An awesome find for a Monday, As I was searching photos of past jobs I came across these beauties. An awesome example that size doesn't always make it better. Here are two fine examples of Tanks that have concealed stands. I love how it looks like they are floating there. All filtration is hidden away, and you still have easy access to sump etc via the room behind. ... It's so important to explore every possible way you could have your tank, from Position in the home, Height for optimal viewing angles and space available.
