15.01.2022 I’m in the Bunbury area and I’m putting out feelers as I will have to rehome my dog in the next few months. I am six months pregnant and my beautiful 8 year old... rescue sharpei x staffie Buddy, whom I have had for four years, cannot be in a home with children. He is loyal, and loving, but due to trauma, children scare him and he is reactive around them, and also reactive with some dogs. I am heartbroken to be giving him up but it has to be done. I would love to rehome him privately and locally so that I could keep in contact with his new owner and possibly visit him. He is very much an indoor dog, he sits on the couch with us and he sleeps on our bed at night. He is a fantastic guard dog, can be wary of strange men but warms up to men he knows (he loves my partner and my dad). He is desexed, up to date on all his shots and microchipped. I can’t stress enough how much he CANNOT be in a home with children or other pets. When I visit my family and my young niece is there he is muzzled. I also muzzle him for walks. 13.01.2022 Hi everyone, Anne-Marie & Arthur here, And so it is.. today marks exactly 1 YR since Remmy (the black Toy Poodle) vanished on that fateful day in Nov 2019 ...from Bayswater Riverside Gardens (Perth). It’s taken me awhile to find the right words... Remmy lives in everyone’s ‘s here at Arthur & Co. So many members of the team have worked on Remmy’s case and each day and with every lead we hoped she would be found. We’ve flown across country multiple times (often with a search dog in toe), searched in 45 degree heat, been attacked by flora and fauna multiple times, waded through water, flushed out empty Fox dens, discovered asbestos, microchip scanned a huge volume of black poodles, received over approx 2000 phone calls/texts/emails/Facebook messages, installed posters, dropped flyers, searched highways AND been misled by people...(plus more) yet Remmy remains missing. Remmy’s family are some of my favourite people in the world. We are devoted to finding their precious Remmy. So, please, for goodness sake (!!!) - IF YOU HAVE ANY INFO THAT MAY HELP 0406 834 001. Just call. You never know. It may be the single, piece of information that brings this 6 year old, desexed, female, black Toy Poodle home. We never give up searching for any missing and stolen pets. If Remmy is out there to be found we will find her one day so please do the right thing. Anonymous contact with information welcome. EDIT - We are grateful for all of the information & leads the community has provided. We do try to get back to everyone but please consider the time associated with receiving thousands of calls/comments/messages with pieces of information. We aren’t a call centre with hundreds of staff fielding calls and messages etc. Rest assured every lead that can be pursued, has been. Whilst all info is welcome, there is a huge difference between a lead that says, for example - This dog is an older female dog and my neighbour just adopted her from over in W.A versus a lead that says a few weeks ago I saw a poodle being walked in Queen Mary Park... I can’t remember the date but it looked like it could be Remmy. So we appreciate the information and the lead but sometimes we can’t do anything with it except note it. We do try to get back to everyone but sometimes we don’t receive contact details if they call from a private number. There has been a huge volume of calls coupled with the actual searching and following up leads and so we’ve been updating the thousands and thousands of people following this case and those who have sent information via this page. Nature I’m a playful and sweet little girl who loves to be held and played with! I was just a day old when I came into the care of the amazing Perth Rescue Angels. My family and I are so thankful for all of the help we have received so far. Just being shy of a kitten herself, our mum had a little bit of a hard time taking care of us at the start, and unfortunately only myself and one other sibling survived! We are so happy that Perth Rescue Angels were able to help us - if it wasn’t for them, we may not have been given the chance to grow into the fun, energetic and loving kittens we are. Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs) I currently live with my mum and my brother. I have met other adult cats and humans and I wasn’t bothered by them at all, truth be told I actually quite liked the attention and cuddles. I haven’t met any dogs yet and I haven’t interacted a lot with children. My foster parents think I will get along with anyone I meet just fine because of my placid, adaptive and loving nature - as always, a slow introduction is a necessity when being introduced to new family members. Likes / Dislikes There is nothing so far that I dislike, but there is a long list of things I do like! I love to have wet food morning and night and also dry food to graze on throughout the day. I just love to be held and will happily fall asleep in your arms. I also love playtime by myself, with humans, with toys and my brother. I have never been outside and I’m more than happy to keep it that way. Due to all of the harsh elements outside and me being so cute, fluffy and small, I would much rather stay inside and out of harm’s way! Although I like it at my foster home a lot, I would really love nothing more than to find my own forever home so I can settle in once and for all with my forever family. The PURR-fect home for me would be one that allows me to be myself, maybe one that is a little quiet and one with lots of love and patience whilst I get to know you. 03.01.2022 *Just so new people know , in the videos , Boki the pushy black toy poodle , the one that barks constantly , is a rescue that lives with me forever VACATION CARE INQUIRY I work from home doing ladies fingernails and spray tanning so the dogs have lots of company ... First of all I need dates to check availability. Dogs need to be vaccinated and desexed. Non desexed dogs can be by discretion depending on dogs booked in at the time. I charge $30 per day . POA for more than one dog or longer stays( the days more than 15 days are discounted ) Day 1-14 standard price , 15 and over are discounted. Payment is by cash , eftpos or direct deposit to my business acc on drop off . Drop off works better for the dogs before 1 pm ( or no one gets any sleep) pick up can be any time that you appoint. They get a home away from home , they are inside allowed on couches and quite often sleep on my bed if that's what they need ! I don't like to change their regular diet so you bring ... Food with feeding instructions . Favorite bed and toy (which can get wrecked ) Medications with instructions . Phone no and address of regular vet if there is one , a contact number of someone here in Perth . It is advisable to mention to your vet that you are traveling and discuss a payment option just in case . Collar, leash , food bowl , treats . I like to keep some things familiar for the pooches . We go on walks when and where possible and they have 24 hr access to house and back yard All care is taken with your pets but no responsibility is taken while in my care . ***All school holidays book out very quickly ( particularly Christmas) so please book asap .
