25.01.2022 Many of you know that Marysville Marathon Festival was born from the Ashes of Black Saturday Fires back in 2009. 2020 was to be the 12th edition of the event, however COVID-19 and government restrictions appear to make it impossible to be held in the normal way. We are however considering a virtual event as a fundraiser for the various Marysville community groups and emergency services. A normal event in past years on average contribute around $100 thousand to the Marysville ...economy through your visitation, in addition donations made from the event is significant to many groups. Our hope is that via a virtual event if the public are interested will help continue the support of the community via the Marysville Marathon Festival.
